Serena's Pov

I was shocked!

Did he just switch his tone with me? Why is he acting this way all of a sudden?

“I… I don't understand. "Why the sudden change?” I asked him, completely baffled.

“Serena, I think there's a reason we came together. It's for work, isn't it? It's to make you have a big comeback, right? Good. "So, let's concentrate on that,” he uttered, and looked back at his phone.

It was all so surprising for him to change. Or did I perhaps do something that got him annoyed, and he didn't know how to express it?

Hmm. Well, I don't need to feel so worked up about this. As long as he's still willing to help me, I should try to ignore this. But at the same time, it hurts that just when I thought we both had something for each other, he started acting this way.
