Sage's POV
Three mates. It's rare. Incredibly rare. I've read about it in the old texts, heard whispered legends about bonds that connected a female to multiple males, but I never thought it would actually happen to me.
The three boys were arguing among themselves, their wolves responding to my heat with an intensity that made the air around us crackle with tension. Kael wanted to claim me first. Vex was insisting they needed to talk about what this meant. Cass was barely holding onto his control, his body trembling with the effort of restraint.
"She's Mine," Cass said, his voice raw and desperate. "That’s all i know. I can't—I can't resist this anymore."
He moved toward me first, and I felt a surge of hope so intense it nearly broke me. He was choosing me. Despite everything, despite my status, despite my worthlessness in the eyes of the world, he was choosing me.
"Yes," I whispered, reaching for him. "Please. The heat—it hurts so much. I need—"
"I know," he breathed against my skin. "I've got you. We've got you."
His hands found my waist, pulling me against him, and I felt the bond between us ignite like wildfire. His lips met mine, and it was desperate and hungry and absolutely real. I could taste the need on him, feel the way his body responded to mine like they were two halves of a whole finally becoming complete.
Kael moved toward us next, his thermokinesis wrapping around me like a blanket of heat and safety. He kissed my shoulder, my neck, his mouth hot against my skin. His hands were everywhere—my back, my sides, pulling me closer, claiming me in ways that made me feel worshipped.
"You're so beautiful," he whispered against my collarbone. "I've always thought you were beautiful. Even when I was trying to convince myself you didn't matter."
Vex came last, his hands trembling slightly as he touched my face. His eyes met mine for just a moment, and I saw something raw and vulnerable there—a moment of honesty that broke through all his careful walls.
"I'm sorry," he said softly. "For every time I was cold to you. For every time I made you feel small. I saw you, Sage. I always saw you."
And then all caution was gone. All three of them surrounded me, and I felt like the moon goddess herself had blessed me. They moved together, their hands on my body, their mouths on my skin, claiming me in ways that made me feel like I was finally, finally home.
Cass kissed me deeply, his tongue exploring my mouth like he was memorizing the taste of me. His hands moved down my back, over my hips, pulling me against him so close I could barely breathe. I could feel his arousal pressing against me, and my body responded with a need so intense it was almost painful.
"You're so soft," he murmured against my lips. "So perfect. I can't believe you're finally ours."
Kael positioned himself behind me, and I felt the heat of his body as he pressed against my back. His hands cupped my breasts, his thumbs brushing across my nipples, sending waves of pleasure through me. His mouth found the curve where my neck met my shoulder, and he began to mark me—the burn of his thermokinesis searing into my skin in a pattern that felt like claiming.
Vex knelt in front of me, his hands on my thighs, spreading them slightly. He looked up at me with an intensity that made my breath catch.
"Can I?" he asked, his voice rough.
I nodded, unable to speak, and he lowered his head. The sensation of his mouth on me was overwhelming, and I cried out, my hands reaching for him, needing something to hold onto as pleasure crashed through me in waves.
Kael's hands tightened on my breasts as Vex continued, his tongue moving with precise expertise. I felt the bond between all of us strengthening, intertwining, becoming more and more solid with every touch, every kiss, every moment we shared.
"I love you," Cass whispered, and I wasn't sure which one of us he was talking to, or if he meant all of us. "I love all of this."
We moved together as a unit, shifting positions, finding new ways to touch each other, to claim each other. At one point, Kael was inside me while Cass kissed me deeply and Vex's hands were on my body, touching me everywhere. The sensation was indescribable—being wanted by three men at once, being surrounded by them, being the center of their universe.
Time lost all meaning. I felt the heat consuming us, driving us forward, making us desperate and needy and absolutely feral for each other. Hours passed. More than five hours. I lost count of the times they touched me, the way they worshipped my body like it was sacred. My first intimacy was happening in a forest clearing under the moonlight, with three men I'd been secretly longing for. It was nothing like I'd imagined, and yet it was everything.
Between the moments of overwhelming pleasure, they whispered things to me. Confessions that broke open my heart.
"I've wanted you for so long," Kael said, his voice rough as he moved inside me. "Since the first day you started working for us. I told myself it was impossible, that you were beneath me, but god, Sage, you were never beneath me. You were always above me. Always out of reach. And now you're mine. You're ours."
"Your mind," Vex breathed into my ear, his hands gentle on my waist as his body moved against mine. "I noticed your mind first. In class, the way you think. The way you see the world differently than everyone else. I've always noticed you. I was just too much of a coward to admit it."
"You were always kind to me," Cass said, kissing my forehead, my cheeks, my lips. "Even when I was distant. Even when I was cold. You never gave up on me. And I've loved you for so long. I've been in love with you since the day you brought me tea at the settlement and smiled at me like I mattered."
I felt tears streaming down my face as they loved me, as they claimed me, as they made me feel like I was worth something. The heat consumed us all, and we moved together in a rhythm that felt necessary and absolutely right. By the end, I was completely spent, my body trembling with satisfaction and exhaustion.
When the heat finally began to fade, they held me between them. Kael was behind me, his arms wrapped protectively around my waist, his chin resting on my shoulder. Vex was on my left, his fingers intertwined with mine, his thumb brushing gently across my skin. Cass was on my right, his head resting on my chest, listening to my heartbeat slowly returning to normal.
"I'm not letting you go," Kael said, and there was absolute certainty in his voice. "Not now. Not ever. You're my mate."
"You're ours," Vex said softly. "And we're yours."
"I love you," Cass whispered. "All of you."
And I believed them. I believed that the moon goddess had finally smiled on me. I believed that these three princes, these three men I'd been secretly longing for, had chosen me as their mate. I believed that my life was finally, finally going to be different. I fell asleep wrapped in their warmth, feeling more loved than I'd ever felt in my entire life.
When I woke up, they were gone.
The only thing left was an oversized shirt—I couldn't tell whose—that they'd left for me to wear. I put it on with shaking hands, trying not to panic. Maybe they'd gone to prepare telling their families. Maybe they'd needed a moment to process everything that had happened.
Some time later, I made my way back to the academy, my body aching pleasantly, my mind still floating from the night before. I was changed. I felt it in my bones. I felt it in the way the bond pulsed inside my chest, connecting me to three different souls. I felt it in the way my skin seemed to glow with satisfaction.
By the time I arrived at school, everything had changed.
The whispers started immediately. Groups of students huddled together, their eyes darting toward me with expressions that mixed disgust with curiosity. I tried to ignore them, tried to walk to my first class with my head held high, but I could hear the words.
"Slut."
"Who would even touch her?"
"Did you see the pictures?"
Pictures. The word made my blood run cold.
I found out during lunch. Someone showed me their phone, their face twisted with cruel amusement. The images were everywhere—pictures of me naked in the forest, my body on display for anyone with access to a phone to see. My breasts. My thighs. The intimate details of my body, exposed and humiliated.
But that wasn't the worst part.
The worst part was the marks on my neck.
Three distinct mating marks, each one shaped differently, each one belonging to a different wolf.
My hand flew to my neck, and I felt the marks beneath my trembling fingers. They were unmistakable. They were a declaration to the entire werewolf world that I had been claimed. Not by one person, but by three.
Everyone was looking at me now. Everyone could see the marks. Everyone knew what had happened, even if they didn't know who the three males were.
"Look at her," someone whispered. "Three men marked her."
"Who would even want her like that?"
"She's a whore. She literally spread her legs for three different men."
The words hit me like physical blows. Everything was crashing down around me, and I didn't understand how it had gone from the most magical night of my life to complete and utter humiliation in the span of a few hours.
I ran to the bathroom and locked myself in a stall, my body shaking. The marks on my neck were burning—not with pain, but with the realization of what they meant. They meant that three princes had claimed me. They meant that the entire world now knew I'd been intimate with three different men.
And they meant that everything was about to fall apart.
Because there was no way Kael, Vex, and Cass would want to claim a servant girl now. Not with these pictures circulating. Not with everyone calling me a slut. Not with the entire school knowing exactly what had happened to my body.
The bond pulsed inside my chest, connecting me to three different souls who were about to reject me.
And I had no idea how I was going to survive it.
Sage’s POV7 years later. The rain fell in sheets, turning the enchanted forest into a blur of silver and grey. My massive silver wolf form moved through the trees with practiced ease, my daughter perched securely on my back, her small hands gripping my fur. Seven years. It had been seven years since I'd escaped that territory, since I'd fled to the human lands with nothing but desperation and a growing child inside me.Everything had changed the moment my daughter was born. The pain of labor had shattered something inside me, unlocked something that had always been dormant. My abilities—the ones that should have been nonexistent in an omega—had exploded into existence with a force that terrified the midwife attending me. Shadow weaving, had evolved into something far more powerful. I could manipulate darkness itself now, bend light and shadow to my will in ways that defied explanation. I could move faster than should have been possible. My senses were heightened beyond anything an or
Sage's POVThe rogue's jaws were inches from my throat when I heard a sound that cut through the chaos.A roar. Primal and furious and absolutely devastating in its power. The massive black wolf collided with the rogue mid-strike, sending both creatures tumbling across the forest floor in a tangle of fur and claws. I scrambled backward, gasping for breath, trying to process what was happening.Cass.It was Cass in his wolf form, and he was fighting the rogue with a ferocity I'd never seen before. The two wolves clashed again and again, and I realized with dawning clarity that Cass was winning. His movements were controlled, precise, utterly devastating. Where the rogue was mindless and chaotic, Cass was calculated and lethal. It took less than two minutes. One final, brutal strike, and the rogue wolf went still. Dead.Cass shifted back into his human form, breathing heavily, his body covered in blood and scratches that were already beginning to heal. When he saw me, his expression shi
Sage's POVI couldn't avoid the whispers at school, but I tried. I kept my head down, wore my hair over the mating marks on my neck, and stayed away from crowded hallways. It didn't matter. The pictures had spread too far, and everyone knew.By the time lunch came around, the entire school was talking about me. Not about who I'd slept with—no one knew that. They just knew that compromising pictures of my naked body were circulating, that I had mating marks from three different wolves, and that I was apparently sleeping around with men I wouldn't even name.In the cafeteria, I sat alone like always, trying to make myself invisible. But invisibility wasn't an option anymore. Girls pointed and laughed. Boys made crude comments about what I might do for attention. Even the teachers looked at me with disappointment, like I'd personally brought shame to the academy. The worst part was watching the three boys move through the school like nothing had happened. They didn't acknowledge me. They
