Chapter 11

TRISTAN’S POV

My office door swings open, leaving me curious about who has that lackadaisical behavior in Golden Stone Pack. And here comes my replica.

“Here Daddy.” She walked in and placed a document in front of me.

“What's this Tammy?” I asked picking up the file, still not taking my eyes off her.

“I think we need an agreement on the contract— What agreement?” I cut in, slowly dropping the file.

“Agreement that you won't be busy when it comes to me. The agreement is that you will have my time and anyone who breaches will have to pay a fine— I chuckled.

Still don't know what my life would have been without her in it. Her birth still seems fresh and it's not ready to fade anytime soon.

“Daddy!” Her tiny but strict voice pulled me away from my thoughts.

“Oh, Tammy darling.” I cleared my throat, beckoning her to come close.

“We don't need this contract my baby— You don't need the contract because I know you won't make time for those moments!” She cut in, looking damn serious.

I don't know how to explain to her that I have other pack duties, there's no time for these moments for fun and creating memories … My thoughts drifted to the past and I got furious, badly fuming within.

“I know you don't love me like you claim!” She cried storming out of my office.

“Tam— I couldn't call out her name before her back faded away into space. Tammy lacks a mother figure in her life and it's affecting her badly. She wants someone to call a mom and I haven't seen a woman that is perfect for that position….Not after what occurred in the past! She should play with her nanny, that's why she has them a lot.” I felt restless all of a sudden.

“Our mate will make a perfect mother figure in her life!” Grey wiggled and rolled my eyes. Almost feel his happiness from the link.

“I told you she's not my mate! When will you accept reality!” I fumed, feeling furious.

He growls “You can't deny our mate forever. You didn't get a chance to know her!” He growls, not ready to back off any moment.

“And we both know what our mate did in the past but you are quick to move on from that! When I am here, still nursing the open wound she left behind!” Grey growled with a silent whimper and guessed he felt my anger from the link.

“That didn't encourage maltreating our newly found mate, talk more of rejecting her!” Grey added and at this point, I felt this argument was unnecessary.

“Grey!” I groan, snapping him out of my head and mind.

“Damn! Can I breathe from this constant MATE!!” I groan, storming on my feet.

“Oh, moon goddess! Where is Javier?!” I thought, taking back my seat.

A knock came through,,,

“Come in”

“Marcus,” I called surprised because I barely see him around my office unless I am practicing.

“It's about The Luna and Lady Candace.” He broke the news and my head rang so loud.

“Did a fight occur between the two?” Curiously raised a question and he shook his sideways.

“Oh,” A breath of relief escaped my lips.

“What happened between them then?!”

“A fight almost occurred after Luna went for a walk in the pack's kitchen. I don't know what really happened but she used her Luna authority on her.” He ended and my eyes widened.

“She did?!” I exclaimed, storming to my feet.

“Davina!” I groaned angrily and Grey howled in my head.

“No, I was not expecting that, that's wasn't the name you should get angry at.”

“Your fuck mate is hurting our mate and you stood by doing nothing, still had the to get angry at our mate for doing the right thing. “ Grey sniveled and I felt his sadness. Making me question who I should be angry at. Words seemed to seize in my throat, I wanted to furthermore in detail but then I realized Candace could be torn in her flesh. Instead of getting worried over why she used her Luna authority on my fuck mate. I find myself worried about what Candace will do to her the longer she stays here.

“It's time you let Candace know her place in this pack!” Grey bellowed in my head distracting me from putting the puzzle together.

“I will take my leave, Alpha.” Marcus bowed and took his leave, leaving me to pace around my office.

“You go and check on how our mate is fearing?” He whined and I shook my head.

He's always eager to see Davina every day, causing me to keep getting closer to her which isn't what I wanted…

“How could you move on so quickly when I haven't?” I was forced to ask.

“Tristan, we got a new mate, why don't we love and appreciate the moon goddess for another chance? Instead of hurting our mate— Grey! Stop this our mate thing. She's not my mate.

“Okay, do whatever you think it's okay but I won't stand you maltreating our mate!” He growled and back out of my head. At that moment, I was stunned, he's so possessive of Davina.

“Tammy!” I realized that I hadn't checked up on her since she stormed out of my office.

A FEW MINUTES LATER.

“What do you mean she's not here, she stormed out of my office minutes ago,” I asked her nanny who seemed clueless about my daughter's whereabouts.

“She might be in the garden, that's where she goes mostly when she's pissed about something.” She explained and I didn't waste any more time further. I dash down to the garden, wondering why she's always there all alone.

For a minute I felt I flunked as a father, She's always lonely and I barely have time for her.

Her laughter was so audible as I stood at the entrance of the garden…It's been a long time since I heard her laugh so genuinely… Her nanny walked past me but I was so quick to stop her from taking a step further.

“Has she made a new friend lately?” I asked her nanny and she shook her head, having no idea about who Tammy's new friend was.

For a second I was pissed at the nanny because it seems she was not looking after Tammy so well!

“You are dismissed!” I ordered her and she left that instant. I got closer to the center of the garden and I was stunned at who the new friend was.

“Davina!” Her name rolled out of my mouth, perplexed at how Tammy was so free with her.
