DAVINA’S POV

Lexie squealed in my head like a little kid who just got the chance to have a bite of her favorite cookie. I chuckled at her silent whims.

“What should we do with Cadence?” She asked and I sighed as I walked back to pack.

“I don't know Lexie, she's Tristan fuck mate… We met her here and she's addressed as a lady in the pack— She's not regarding you as the Luna of Golden Stone pack.” She cut in.

“And I will make her to! Since the Alpha isn't ready to put his slut in place.”

She giggled “Loved how you used your Luna authority on her, She should think highly of us.” Lexie growled and I agreed with her.

I feel disrespected and angry, She keeps getting on my nerves and I won't take any slight incivility from her.

“Lexie,” I called and she whims in response.

“Why is the Alpha always in my room every night and acts differently when it's morning?”

“We are his mate, He can't deny that forever and we are close to him, so to win him and change his mind will be easy. Grey told—

“Who is Grey?” I asked.

“Tristan Wolf.”

“Oh! You communicate with him, How?” Cluselessly asked.

“When you are sleeping, I take over. Grey said he's still healing from a past wound.”

“Okay, Thank you… With that, Lexie snapped out of my mind and I sighed deeply…

I will give him some time to heal up, I conclude on that and step into the elevator just when it is about to close, She stops it from closing and steps in. She's up to something, why is she here again after my stern warning, lots of thousands running through my head as I couldn't pick out why she was in the elevator with me.

“Feeling on top of the world right now!” She speaks and as usual, I ignore her. She's not talking to me.

“Oh! I guess someone is now deaf, what a disabled Luna of the mighty Golden Stone Pack!” She let out a sarcastic laugh.

“Whatever your name is or how important you are in this pack, I think you should avoid me!” I uttered, making it to her awareness that my words weren't in for jokes and I meant them.

“Oh, a Luna for the pack and not for his mate!” She chuckled. Lexie was trying so hard to take over, I was not ready to let her take over, because I needed to give this lady a piece of advice.

“Coming from a loose slut. You sound so pained and badly wish you were Luna. Too bad the moon goddess doesn't give such a position to bittered souls like you.

(Ding) the elevator opened and I stepped out, only to bump into Tammy. I paused and rushed to raise her from the ground.

“Leave me alone!” She yelled roughly getting into the elevator... At first, I was confused and still battling with what to do, I got into the elevator. She kept crying and I couldn't get my mind off her. Candace was just doing her thing, not worried about Tammy and she didn't bother till the first floor of the building…

“Daddy don't love me.” She mumbled in between her tears and her statement took me out.

“Is Tristan the reason why you are in tears?” I found myself burning in rage as I asked, only for her to burst into a round of tears and Candace chuckled…

“Really!! Did you just chuckle?”

“Oh! Please! Stop this fake caring character of yours… it's obvious it's just for the title—

“I won't battle words with you because I don't battle words with worthless sluts like you.”

Tammy had run out of the elevator and I ran after her, She kept bumping into the maids and guards of the pack… I kept running after her till she entered the garden and stopped instantly.

A flashback of how Tristan and Alpha Michael nearly fought because of me flooded in.

“What if Tristan gets angry at me for coming close to his daughter for the second time?” I thought, doubting if I should take a two further.

“Being a listening ear to our mate's daughter isn't something wrongful— Tristan gave me a stern warning not to move closer to his daughter.” I cut in and she growled.

“She’s sad Vina! I can't ignore her cries!” She growled silently and I sighed deeply. Walked towards the heart of the garden and I met her staring at the mini waterfall.

A sigh of relief escaped my lips without hesitation I got closer to her.

“How are you feeling Tammy?” I felt I should start with that and she turned around, staring at me with her big green eyes.

“I want to be alone.” She mumbled turning away.

“Quite an attitude.” I rolled my eyes and sat close to her…

“I guess another “U and I” time with Daddy didn't work out?”

(Silent Sobs) “Yes, he didn't want to sign a contract I can't up with.”

“You came up with a contract?!” I asked again to confirm and she nodded. Oh moon goddess, she has to be kidding me…

“I'm also lonely here, as the luna of this pack, I would love to sign the contract with you as a friend if you don't mind.” I offered and she stared at me, piercing deep into my eyes. She was taking so long to decide and I was a bit pathetic at whatever her response would be.

“Okay, Can I trust you?” she asked and I didn't hesitate before nodding.

“My nanny used to bully me.”

“What?!”
