Chapter 10

"You don't like sushi, do you?" Marcus asked, noticing the sour look on Elena's face as she moved her food around.

"I hate to be ungrateful but the idea of raw fish freaks me out." Marcus's lips tilted up a little in a smile. "I guess that's on me, what would you like? I'll order something else. What about Chinese food?"

"I love Chinese food,"

"Give me a minute." He stood up and walked towards his landline to make a call while Elena sat back staring at the platter of food.

She and Marcus had talked more throughout the day than in their entire relationship of weeks and it made her feel giddy. And now he was ordering Chinese food for her.

Her mind immediately went back to Gavin. She was surprised she had not thought about him most of the day, last night felt like everything but today her mind was only on Marcus and their little moment in the car.
