"Alpha Kaden," Shadow bowed her head fast, "I didn't hear you come downstairs."

"What was that for?" His voice reeked of impatience, it made my heart skip a beat.

"I was only messing around alpha, it was completely unnecessary alpha, I'm sorry." Shadow's voice trembled as she spoke.

Just then, my mom and beta Riggs walked in through the main door carrying sacks and they must have been having a good laugh before since they were both grining from ear to ear. The silence drew their attention, they stopped in their tracks and my mom's smile faded when she saw me standing there..

"How should you be punished?" Alpha Kaden continued to be intimidating, coming closer until he was inches away from her while I stood a few inches away from their middle.

"I'm sorry Alpha."

Alpha Kaden slightly kicked the bucket that was beside her , "fill it up."

"Yes alpha." She picked the bucket, rushed into the bathroom and returned with a bucket of water.
