Staring right at me in the eye, he stayed silent until the heavy rising and falling of my chest subsidised. "Are you okay?"

I slid his hand downwards and away from my mouth. "How can I be okay?" I whispered, putting my hand on my chest, "why on earth would you sneak up on me like that?"

"I heard your scream in the bedroom, what was that all about?" I had my back leaning against the counter and he was only a few inches away from me , partially leaving me trapped between his body and the counter.

"It's nothing," I dismissed quickly.

"If there's something going on, you shouldn't hesitate to tell me." My eyes looked between both his blue orbs and I attempted to leave when he pulled my arm back effortlessly. "If something is wrong, you have to tell me." This time it sounded like a threat to me. I wouldn't lie and say that his aura wasn't threatening but I wasn't about to let him know what effect he was having on me.
