In the living room of the Wilson mansion.

“Madam Rita, are you okay?” The voice of the person made Rita to open her eyes.

Wait, what was going on? Was she alive?

She scanned the whole place and saw that it was the living room of the Wilson villa, then she  stared at the person and saw that it was miss Chloe, the chief. Getting out of the sofa, Rita felt very weak and could not stand up properly.

“You’re very weak so I’ll advise you take some rest. We were supposed to go get groceries, but seeing as you are sick l will go alone.” Miss Chloe said.

One second… two seconds Rita still could not say anything. She was so confused.

Miss Chloe thought her sickness could not allow her to speak, so he let her be before heading for the door.

As soon as she was gone, Rita stood up still in her weak state and rushed  to the calendar.

SEPTEMBER 10th, 2020.

Huh? Has she been reborn back in time to three years ago?

No way! Checking herself in the mirror and seeing that she was safe and sound, her tiny blue eyes were so full of excitement.

Does that mean she was granted another life? Definitely! One second she was laying in her pool of blood about to give up her last breath and now, she was alive.

“Welcome back young master Wilson.” The voice of the servant coming from outside made Rita freeze in fear.  What was she to do now? Was she still married to that heartless man?

Recalling how she was pushed down the stairs and him saying how she deserved the death, she felt heartbroken.

She went to the window and looked outside, and saw Liam Wilson, he was putting on a brown finely made suit and brown leather shoes.

With his hair packed at the back and sunglasses in his face, she could not help but be mesmerized of how good looking this man was like a fine painting of art work but heartless at the same time.

He had such an unapproachable aura that sent shivers down the servants who bowed their head as he was coming in. Neither was there love or any affection, but rather only coldness.

She looked at his glasses, not minding whether he was looking at her or not,  and recalled the way he was looking at her as she was struggling with her last breath.

Now that she had gotten a second chance, she would never make the mistake of ever loving him again nor so crazy about him. Now she just wanted to divorce him, and start life afresh.

His tenderness and care never came to her when she was about to die, and so the memory of her previous life made her even more determined to leave him.

As he made his way inside the villa, Rita left the window and walked downstairs.

This was the right time for her to act fast!

All the servants inside the villa bowed their heads and stopped all what they were doing as he nodded to their greetings and made his way.

Rita came downstairs to meet him.

“So this is your little trick of trying to get me back home  early huh?”  He said and glanced at her tiny figure, she was very pale  unlike before and her face showed no form of expression.

Did she call him back home? But why would she do that. She didn’t recall anything now.

“Say something Rita.” He urged her seeing as she kept mute and pretended like she did not heard what he said.

The door was pushed open and miss Chloe walked in.

“Am so sorry madam Rita. I was the one who called young master Liam seeing as you were not feeling strong.”  Miss Chloe said.

So it was miss Chloe that called him, yet he was quick to say that it was her. Did he think she was the fool like she used to before who loved him?  This was a new era where she wished not to have anything with him again.

“Don’t tell me you told miss Chloe to get me home on time just so I could cater for you, if you are sick then go to the hospital. In the future, don’t ever attempt calling me regarding this cause it would be a waste of your time.” Liam says.

“But…” miss Chloe was trying to explain, but Liam cut her short.

“I didn’t ask for your opinion, so it will be better if you don’t interfere and make the meals instead.”

“Okay sir.” Miss Chloe walked away.

After allowing what he said to sink inside her, Rita packed her scattered hair up in a bun, then she looked up at him, moving her tiny lips as she said, “I…”

As she spoke, the tears she had been holding for a long time rolled down her face.

She wipe the tears with her arm, took a deep breath and with more courage spoke up.

“I think it’s enough now. I want a divorce!”

She knew no matter how hard she try to be a good wife and pour all her affection to him, she would not be able to win his heart nor will he reciprocate back the feelings to her. Therefore before she encounter her death from him one more time, it was only normal that she divorce him.

That could be the only way now.  Moreover she had no desire to love him again, because she was tired already.

Tired of trying to impress thinking she could win him over and tired of fooling herself that all was going to be alright.

She just wanted the divorce now, so she could start her life anew and pursue her dreams while bettering her life on the long run.
