Chapter 3

After more than 30 minutes of working on the files,it was finally ready.i package it back into the case and went back to the CEO office...

I knocked on the door several times but no response came,I decided to go in thinking he might have slept off...

I walked into the room but to my surprise,he was sitting on his seat quietly, starring at a certain photo with his eyes visibly red..

If my guess is correct,he might have being crying...I felt emotional and walked closer to him..

I don't even know what came over me! But all I know is that he needs someone to help him let go of whatever he is depressed of...

I hugged him immediately and started patting his back.. Don't worry sir,it fine.. Please don't allow this silly things to  break you down..I said to him caressing him lovely to calm down...

To my suprise..He hugged me back and buried his head on my chest..I could feel tears dripping on my shirt...

I felt broken,I wanted to help him let go of whatever might be eating him up.i felt like sharing his pain..

I know it sounds stupid because,I merely know this man,but i can't stop myself from drawing closer to him,I felt he is like a lost child that needed the warmth of someone....

We were like that, cuddling and crying with each other for some minutes,when studdenly I heard a knock at the door..I quickly jolt up from him and stood up straight back like a professional employee.....

The manager came in and was informing him about some new business plans..I could tell from his reaction that he was not really paying attention, so I decided to dive into their conversation.

Hmm Mr Parker, don't you see the Boss is not really in the mood for this!? I think you should come later.. Beside it my duty to also take care of him.i added in other not to make my statement look personal..

Hmm; He said and observe the CEO for a while.. okay,I would give you the rest details tomorrow sir.He said and got up to leave...

Hmm miss Jessy please I want to see you..

Huh!! But.. I was about to protest when the Boss gesture me to go with him..I nod my head in obedience and dropped the   files on the table..

I followed the manager out of the office with a heavy heart..I really wanted to spend more time with him

I really don't know if this is madness or the saying of love at first sight but all I know is that I found myself craving to be with him..
