**Flashback**

Noah had gone to Sophia's house the previous day. After all said and done at her office, they needed to talk. If they were going to create a life together, he needed to be honest with her.

He still hadn't returned the spare key that Ava gave him, so getting access into the house wasn't really a hassle.

This was the scene he met when he entered Casa del Whyte.

Sophia sobbed, you could hear the pain in her voice as she cried, “Mom, I can't believe it's been eight years already. I miss him so much.”

‘Who could they be talking about?’

Ava held unto Sophia tightly, “I know, sweetheart. I miss him too. But it's okay to cry. Let it out.” She rubbed her back vigorously. It seemed like the kids were already asleep.

“I just keep thinking about that day... the accident. If I hadn't asked him to come to my graduation, he would still be here.”

Sophia's words broke Noah's heart. She had been beating herself up for years like she was the one responsible for her father's death.
