Stalking my mate

Light-POV

The rest of the day, i have been following my mate around from a distance, making sure that he wouldn't be attacked. I know that our pack memebers don't just attack anyone but still, i felt like i needed to watch over him.

The uniform my mom made him wear did cover his scent from others but even the youngest wolves can tell that he doesn't have a wolf, hence, they can simply guess that he is a human.

But my worry shouldn't have been on our worriors, it should have been on all the she-wolves that have been eyeing him up and down like a peice of meat as he works. I can hear them whisper about how handsome he is. That damn uniform sticking to his body like a second skin did not help at all. When i noticed that their eyes were not pealing off of him, i just mind linked them and telling them that my mother was asking for them. And after they leave, i made sure to mind link mom telling her to give them some work that would keep them busy for the rest of the day. And by the end of it, i ended up sending seven omegas on my moms way.

As i was following him while he was walking my mothers poodls, i noticed he was looking for something. He kept turning left and right in the hopes of finding something. And then just a couple of seconds later, he stopped. All of a sudden, he turned my direction and we locked eyes.

Shit, did i just got caught stalking my mate? He slowly started walking closer to me, i can smell the excitment surounding his scent. The next logical move for me would be turning around and running for my life. But i couldn't move. It was as if my legs were glued to the ground. As i was calculating my escape plan, he had already reached me.

"Hey..." he stood before me and i couldn't help but look at him up and down. That awful uniform looked too good on him and i can still feel the femals checking him out. When my eyes finally returned to his face, he gave me a small smile.

He scrached the back if his head "I know, not really the best apearance in front of a girl right." Seeing as i gave no comment in extended his hand towards me "I'm Kevin by the way."

I took his hand "Light Angle"

"I know....We had history together, right?" He asked as he let my hand go.

"Right... about that.." i felt the need to explain why i dropped the class but Noah interrupted us.

"Hey Light, my tempreture has been going up since this morning, i thing i'm finally going to tur..." i screamed at his throught our mind link to stop. He winched a bit and looked at Kevin who was standing opposite to me. He immideately understood.

"Another friend?" Noah asked a question neither of us could answer. Then after a bit of silence, Noah spoke "well i'm Noah....uhhh i would like to have a minute with Light."

I took this chance to walk away and followed Noah. As soon as we were out of sight Noah asked.

"Another Human?"

"Don't ask!" I was too exhusted at this point to exolain that my mate is a human.

"Well, i just wanted to tell you that i might be able to turn tonight."

Now that Noah might turn, i made sure to take him to the were-house so we could be alone and waited. No matter how long we waited, Noah did not turn. Infact his tempreature went back to normal at midnight. Thinking it was a false alarm, we went back to our rooms

When i got back home, i found the omegas that were in the kitchen whimpering, all sweaty and exhusted.

"What is going on?" I asked the elder.

"Your parents had a fight, dear. Their aura was too much for the omegas to handle."

I didn't need to ask why they fought. It was obvious that my father found out that my mom hired my mate at the house. I don't want to deal with this right now, so i went to my room.

As soon as i walked in, his scent slapped me on the face. My room was clean, too clean for my liking and my bed was made. Every one know not to get in to my room with out my aproval but seeing as how my room was filled with his scent, i knew mom made him clean it. This would drive me crazy.

I slipped in to the covers not bothering to shower, my hand still tinggling from the shack we shared and my body hugged with his scent. I didn't have any trouble sleeping though. Infact, it was the first night, in a long time that i slept with out those nightmares.
