Chapter 9: Firefly

I decided that I wasn’t going to let thoughts of Drake consume me. I have let him hurt me enough. It’s a shame that it took me putting distance between us for his true colors to shine through. I grabbed Brax’s hand.

“Dance with me, Brax.” I said. I led him over to where everyone else was dancing. The music was a nice smooth beat that was perfect for close and seductive dancing. I turned to face Brax.
