The portal closed and the remaining demons went with it. They were sucked through the portal at the very last minute like a genie getting sucked back into its bottle. Their human vessels were lying dead. All strewn about as far as the eye can see. Willow hit her knees, clutching her face with both hands. Her body shook as she cried. Damn, I didn’t know the guy had a decent bone in his maggot body. I guess I should be thankful. I grabbed Willow and held her to me. She’s exhausted both physically and mentally. I think we all are, but her more so than others. Gabriel, Harper, Nix, Cam, and Mona ran up to Willow. Harper checked her for wounds. I stood just as my father made his way to me. He looks like shit. 

“Not as young as you once were, huh old man?” I joked. He slapped me on the
