Ch 19 - Transparency

From the moment he set foot into the castle, the hybrids in her stirred. She hadn’t even seen him, but she knew. She tried to avoid him as she’d been avoiding the other Alphas, but he specifically scented her out, stopping her from leaving the room.

“I’ve found you again,” he said lowly.

“Let go Tyson. I’m already trying to keep my cool as is,” she warned. Killian was somewhere else with Nathan, leaving her to face her enemy alone.

“I’m not here to make you mad. I’m just checking up on my mate,” he insisted.

She turned to him, eyes glowing a bright blue. “I am not your mate Tyson, and I’m getting tired of saying it.”

“That’s where you’re wrong Calypso. Did it ever occur to you why you’ve had three mates in the first place?”

And with that, he let go of her, vanishing into the crowd of other Alphas. She was seething, a bolt of electricity unexpectedly leaving her. That drew enough eyes her way, with Samantha taking her outside to calm her down.
