Third person's POV
It's Saturday again and she's gonna have her weekly day-off. She plans to roam around the town to refresh her mind from what happen the last few days.
Not having any plans to buy anything, she decided to have some ice cream from the shop she had before. Walk a little afterwards. Mind is still occupied.
That incident from the hotel makes her realize that she can't hide anymore. It's been months and she's living just fine. Being with people who are treating her well, not minding about her status in life, and the best thing is, she has been showered by Conrad's affection. Even though they are not committed to each other, he still makes her feel like she's a special person to him.
She could say she likes him. And the feeling is growing day by day.
