Raven’s POV

The guards moved out of the way, immediately they saw me, my expression was enough to show that I was mad…dead mad, enough to tear anyone that stands in my way to shred.

I pushed the door open and stormed into my mother’s room, glancing around before I finally saw her.

She stood by the window, her arms crossed under her breasts, staring out like she was thinking about something big. She didn’t even turn around when I entered.

“You might be the Alpha, but don't forget I am your mother, you should show a little respect?”

Alpha? She was more of the Alpha than I was, making the palace decision, the only thing I get to decide for myself was war plans.

Sometimes I feel like I'm just a tool to make her look good.

“You closed the investigation?” I said loudly.

She finally looked at me, her face calm like always. “Yes, figured it was the best decision.”

“You don't get to decide that,” I growled, my cold eyes locked on her, like a predator surveilling its prey. “I think it's m

  • She's the Alpha    The abomination.

Killian’s POVThe morning sun filled the training field with a golden light. I was stretching my body in a corner ready to continue my training but my mind kept betraying me.I couldn't stop thinking about Raven, her small tiny boobs, her soft skin…those lips, damn she tasted nice and I wanted to taste her again…even more. Two sentinels near the edge of the field were whispering like boys who’d seen a ghost.“Did you see what was left of him?”“Don’t remind me. I couldn’t eat.”“It wasn’t just a kil, he was ripped open, his heart was still beating when his ribs were already shattered.”I slowed down, listening without turning. Another voice cut in. “Who did it? Any idea?”“The guards said it was the abomination, haven't you guy's heard, the Lycans have something in this palace that would destroy us.”“That's bullshit, no one can do that, Alpha Rowan is no fool, he would find this person very soon.”Someone spat in the dirt.“Why the fuck is that thing still alive? He’s one of them.

  • She's the Alpha    Broken focus

Raven’s POVHis hands moved around my curves, pulling me closer, our tongues licking each other like a lifeline. My hand running through his hair, the other hand digging his skin. I was melting, dissolving, unraveling under his touch. He gently lifted me up, my legs wrapped around his waist. He slowly pulls away, moving to my neck. I let out a faint moan as his soft warm tongue touched my skin. Damn, they were right, he knew exactly how to turn a woman. No wonder the women in the palace can't stop talking about him. Kai pulled back, breath ragged, our eyes locked for some second before he stepped back. “I’m sorry,” he muttered, his eyes fell down. I blinked. “What?”He took another step back like he’d touched fire. “I shouldn’t have. That was… I shouldn’t have.”Really? He can't be serious right now…You get a girl on just for you to dump her just when she is finally in the mood. “That's what makes him interesting…a playboy,” Leslie teased. I slapped him, which I regretted alm

  • She's the Alpha    Drawn my desire.

Raven’s POVI walked down to the river, barefooted, the grass damp and cool under my feet. The forest or should I say this part was my sanctuary, my happy place, the one place in the palace heavily. This was the place I came to every time I had a bad or stressful day. A place where I could be a woman for once. The breeze carried the scent of moss, pine, and the river. I sat on a flat stone, putting my legs in the water, humming some old tune like this was just another lazy evening.“Finally, you finally have time for peace and quiet,” she said as I tossed a smooth pebble into the stream.“I had things to do and you know that, so you better enjoy every single second, cause only the goddess knows when I will be coming here again.”“Whatever,” she said, nonchalantly. I pulled my shirt off, stripped everything else, and slipped into the river without a second glance. The water washed over my body as I finally relaxed. Leslie chuckled. “Still trying to wash off that mate bond?”“I don

  • She's the Alpha    The blood oath

Kai’s POV. I walked alone through the quiet hallway. My boots barely made a sound on the cold stone floor. I hid in a dark corner when I heard footsteps approaching us. This dungeon was more protected than the palace. They must really want to keep that Lycan safe. I stayed in the corner for a while, making sure the guards have passed before I came out of the dark. They couldn't pick my scent so it was very easy to sneak past them. After what seemed like hours, I finally past the last set of guards, making my way to the Lycan cell. Just when I thought I had passed the last security, I picked the scent of two sentinels hidden in the cell. Damn, the guards were wise but they were different, I couldn't recognize these scent, they weren't the regular guards in the palace, they must be part of the great army that man boasted off at the meeting.I looked around, looking for a way to distract them or draw them out, they were hidden so well that I couldn't see them, seriously, and that

  • She's the Alpha    Who is Kai?

Raven’s POV Everyone acted like nothing was wrong, like I was the only crazy person in the room. It doesn't seem like any of them smelt the blood. I blinked, unsure of what just happened. I could smell it but Leslie could and each time, something was one way, especially on Leslie side, it meant bad news. Everyone around joked, talked, and questioned Fein like he was a hero, but I couldn’t focus, I couldn’t shake the cold crawling over my spine. I leaned slightly, whispering to Leslie inside me. “Are you sure?” “It’s faint,” she whispered back. “But yes, I’m sure. His blood... it has no scent. That’s not normal, it must definitely be impure, I think that's why we can't smell him from afar.” I glanced at Kai again. He stood straight, his arms folded, his eyes locked on Fein, filled with rage and disgust. He looked ready to tear him apart. “Is that why he hates Lycans so much?” I asked Leslie. “Could be,” she replied. “Impurity is a curse to them. Lycans don’t tolerate anythin

  • She's the Alpha    The impure among us.

Raven’s POV“The moon goddess be praised,”Damien rushed over to him. He pulled Fein into a big hug, like they’d been best friends forever.“Damn, it’s good to see your ugly face,” Damien said, laughing.Fein laughed too. “You’re still short.”Damien smirked. “I grew an inch.”I stood to the side, just watching them, my arms crossed. Before I could say anything, Damien dragged Fein into the Alpha's quarters. I followed them quietly. “I didn't expect you to be back so soon,” Damien smiled, handing him a cup of wine.Fein chuckled, turning to me. “Well, what can I say? I heard that the great Alpha Rowan pack was attacked by some Lycans.”I scoffed, disdain etched on my face. That was my glorious record, I have ruled the pack for years and we have never experienced any attack from Lycans or rogues but now, just when we were almost done with the endless war, the Lycans decided to destroy that record. “Words get far this days,” Damien said with a smirk. “Are you kidding? The world is w

  • She's the Alpha    Tangled in thorns

Raven’s POVThe moment I stepped out of that room, I wanted to scream so loud, taking out my anger on my vocal cord. Leslie was pacing in my head, like a dog wagging its tail like she just found her favourite chew toy.“He’s smart, hot and brave. You have to admit it.”I clenched my fists. “He’s arrogant. And annoying. And—”“Strong. Did you see how calm he was when you tried to threaten him?”“I should’ve broken his legs.”“You’re just angry because he got under your skin.”“Under my skin?” I scoffed aloud. “I want to flay him.”“You want to kiss him.”“Kiss him? More like sewing his lips together,” I scoffed. “Yeah, with your lips,” She laughed. “Shut up.”I pushed her out of my head, needing space to think, when I saw Damien waiting at the corner. His arms were folded, and his face serious.“What was that all about?” He frowned, walking behind me. “Pregnant? That's the most ridiculous thing I have seen Draven done.”I chuckled, nodding my head in agreement. “What do you want me

  • She's the Alpha    Taming the Alpha.

Killian’s POVI snuck up behind her while she was still standing by the table, her hands clenched, breathing heavy. “My Lord,” I bowed faintly She jumped a little, then turned to glare at me. “I'm sorry if I startled you,” I apologized, shutting the door behind me.She lets out a frustrated sigh, waving her hand dismissively. “It's fine,” she forced a smile. “I still can't pick up your scent.”I sniffed my body, a slow smirk appearing on my lips. “Should I be flattered?”She scoffed, folding her hands on her chest. “You aren't invisible, you just reek of poo.”“I guess I can't clean off the scent easily.”“What are you doing here?” She questioned, glancing around. “This is no place for your kind…not all sentinels are allowed to enter here when they haven't been summoned.”“You shouldn’t look down on me, Sire,” I whispered. She held her head in pride, maintaining eye contact. “What if I do? I'm the Alpha of this pack.”I grinned. “I won the bet, isn't that enough to show my talents
