Killian’s POV

The night came quietly, making the Sentinel quarters filled with silence, only broken by the occasional echo of boots against stone.

I sat on my bed, my legs stretched out, shirt off, tracing the bruises I earned from the day’s encounter.

No wonder this pack was the best werewolf pack in the region. Alpha Rowan or should I say Raven was a legend, one that sent fear to even the Lycan Lord.

Ever since she became the Alpha, it was like she was born with a sole purpose—destroy all the Lycans and that was what she has been doing ever since she became the Alpha.

She trained and led thousands of wolves to battle, she never lost a battle. She once fought off almost three hundred Lycans all by herself when they came up with a plan to separate from her people and kill her but she proved to them that she doesn't need her people to protect her—she was a goddess.

A faint scoff escaped my lips. I have lived in this place for years, hoping that one day I would be able to see this l

Raven's pov. It has been weeks now and the war was still on. The Lycans were tougher than what we had expected but thanks to Kai, things were easier for us and we were finally getting closer to the Lycan Lord. We have conquered the surrounding packs and villages close to the bloodfang pack—- the Lycan Lord pack. I can't wait to meet him. I can't wait to give him the taste of his own medicine, I can't wait to burn down his palace. We returned back to our camp, after defeating another Lycan trope. My people were exhausted and so was I. We have been fighting for hours, no quick break. The closer we got to the Lycan Lord, the harder the war. And it was exhausting. I needed rest and some good wine. I fell on the bed, peeling my clothes off. Damien walked in, scaring the hell out of me. “Fuck,” I screamed, dragging a cloth abs pulled it over my chest. “What the hell man?” He chuckled, placing his lamp on the table. “I didn't mean to scare you,” he defended. “You know I'm the only o

  • She's the Alpha    First phase.

Raven’s POVA war broke out sooner than we expected, we were able to stop the Lycans from coming in but it only took two days for them to attack again but this time I was more than prepared. I stood on top of the wall, staring into the distance. The Lycans were charging towards the city gate. I turned to the sentinels besides me and gave him a nod. He nodded back and shouted down the wall. “Nightshade,” he shouted. The place erupted in shouts as our people appeared from nowhere catching the Lycans off guard but they didn't back down. Foolish Lycans. They were about to meet their end and they knew it but they wouldn't just admit it. The attack was brutal, but we had the upper hand. Lycans were falling, we were winning. I stood at the wall, giving orders to the sentinels who stayed by the gate to finish any Lycan that escaped the wrath of the first batch. The Lycans refused to retreat, they kept coming. My people retreated, allowing fresh batch to continue the fight. And we won th

  • She's the Alpha    Brother's fight.

Author’s POVThe Lycan Palace was a big and quiet place in the heart of the Lycans land. It was a monstrous silhouette etched against the ashen sky. A throne room made of black stone and blood-colored banners cast long shadows across the floor. The Lycan Lord sat upon his jagged throne — his silver beard made him look like a god, his piercing eyes dimmed with disappointment. His younger son, Allen. Kai's brother knelt before him, with one knee to the floor, his head bowed. His fists clenched besides him. The Lycan Lord stared at him for a long time without a word. His silence was enough to show his level of disappointment. But Allen wasn't moved. He plays this game more often than anyone. "You failed," the Lycan Lord finally said, voice deep and full of gravel. "You failed to bring your brother home."Allen’s jaw tensed. He raised his head slightly, eyes burning. “I followed his tracks and found him, just like I promised but it seems that the story is true, Kai just wouldn't come

  • She's the Alpha    When the flames speak.

Raven’s POVThe fire burned low in front of me, the flames licking the wood gently. My knees were pulled to my chest, my arms wrapped tight around them. Different questions that don't seem to have an answer clouded my mind. I inhaled, breaking another branch and threw it into the fire. The fire seemed to be the only thing keeping me from losing it, so I was bent on keeping alive. “You’re still thinking about him,” Leslie whispered with a sigh. “I’m trying not to.”“What exactly are you thinking about?” “You live in my head,” I replied coldly, using a branch to rearrange the burning woods. “You should know what exactly is on my mind.”“Well, it's impossible to do that because in this messed up place you call a head,” she retorted. I rolled my eyes letting out a faint groan. I definitely wasn't in the mood to welcome Leslie's annoying attitude. “What are you going to do now?” She asked. “His coming was expected but it came soon… he killed your people.”Thanks for the info. Like I

  • She's the Alpha    Tempting visitor.

Raven’s POVHis hand was over my mouth, his body pinning me to the wall like I was some plaything he found amusing. Kai’s breath was warm against my face, and his smile—God, that smile—mocked every shred of fear clawing its way up my throat.I didn’t care if I was half-naked. I didn’t care that his grip could snap my wrist in a heartbeat. I just wanted him dead.I kicked hard, slammed my knee upward, did anything to make him flinch, to break free. “Get off me,” I growled, muffled through his hand. But instead of pulling back, he pushed harder, pinning me even tighter. I couldn’t move. His hand above my head locked both my wrists like shackles, and his weight pressed my ribs into the stone wall.“Oh Raven,” he whispered, with a mocking smile. “always so dramatic. It’s like you want to hurt me. Is that any way to greet an old friend?”“I’m not your friend,” I snapped the second he moved his hand away from my mouth. “I want you gone.”“I was gone,” he said simply. “But you missed me.”

  • She's the Alpha    Shadows in the mirror

Raven’s POVIt’s been two days since I got the letter. Two exhausting days where I was always at alert, where every sound became a threat, every moment became suspicious. I burnt the letter but that couldn't take away the fear, it was like Kai was following me everywhere. If he wasn't how would he have known that Damien and I had sex and just immediately after that he sent a letter through a bird. Kai was closer than I thought, he has become a shadow I can't shake off, he was too close— he was definitely in the palace. So was Lara. They said talking to someone was like solving half the problem but in this case, talking to someone was just going to make everything worse. So I had to bottle everything and act like nothing was wrong. My mother, of course, was too busy with wedding plans to notice I wasn’t myself. She talked about dresses and flowers like nothing could go wrong. Damien on the other hand was busy with the sentinels. So that made hiding the truth easy. I spent my morni
