Chapter 6

TYEE

I didn't want to let go of her, I wanted to fully wrap my arms around her waist and not let go. She was the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. Dark brown eyes that capture my very soul, brown hair put into a fashion and I wanted nothing more than to let free her hair and let my fingers run through it. I wanted nothing more than to claim those soft pink lips of hers. I never knew I could feel this way about a human, let alone one I just met. I'm an Alpha, the Moon Goddess had to have made some one that actually has a wolf for me. Something's up though because even Dakota feels something towards her and he keeps trying to push forward to take control twice now.

"In time Dakota but we can't scare her off, she has no idea about our kind."

 "I know but there's something about her and I want to meet her." Dakota was stretching his paws before trotting off.

Now it's time to face our people. I leaned in close to her ear, my hands still around her waist. "Just smile and I will do the talking" I can smell her fear but I also smell her excitement.

I took her hand in mine and turned towards the pack. Raising my free hand, "Were... Coughing, People of the Blood Moon Pack, I bring you your new Luna. Luna Jennie. She is to be treated with the same respect you show me, your Chief Alpha."

Applause broke out and Jennie had a small yet warm smile on her face, I took a second breathing her in before turning back to my pack. "She does not know our ways but she will in time and she will make a great Luna. Tonight we shall celebrate and truly welcome her to her new home."

While everyone was in the midst of applause, I used the opportunity to send a mind link commanding everyone that they will stay silent about werewolves and shifts are not allowed inside the village until she knows what we are. I led Jennie inside to my hut pulling back the grey and white fur that hangs in the entrance.

Once we were inside she let go of my hand and I hated it.

"This is your home. I know it’s not what you're used to, but I promise the people and land make up for it”.

Jennie made her way over to the bed that's lined with tan and white furs brushing her hand over it before turning to me. "No it's not, but seems that I didn't really have much of a choice." She took a pause before making her way over to a small table and chair before sitting down. "Our people.” She paused. “Tell me what does our people mean. Who am I now and who did I marry?"

I remained standing close to the entrance. “I am Alpha Tyee Wolf Heart, my pack is the Blood Moon Pack and you are now Luna and those people out there are our pack. We help guide them and protect them." I could see she was still confused.

She adjusted in her seat "I keep hearing the term Luna, Alpha, pack, but what does that mean. A pack? Like animals? Alpha and Luna? I know you just explained it but it just seems... I don't know, unusual."

I can tell this girl is going to be the death of me. "You ask a lot of questions."

She squinted at me "I like answers."

I let out a chuckle. "You will get your answers in time. For now though, I think you guys call them king and queen, but we go by Alpha and Luna."

I watched as Jennie opened her mouth before quickly closing it. I could tell she was thinking. " We will have our mating celebration tonight and you will get to eat and dance. I have to go speak with my people but you will stay here. Someone will come in to take your size so we can get you into the right clothes. I will come back to get you for the celebration tonight."

I turned to open the entrance to our hut, I stopped and turned my head. "Don't worry, nothing is expected of you tonight."

I could hear her sigh relief before I walked out. I need to go find Ahanu.

I mind linked Ahanu and had him meet me down by the river. He was already down there skipping stones. "Ahanu, I don't know what to do. How am I supposed to keep our wolves a secret and for how long?"

 Ahanu picked up another rock. "You did not think this through did you Tyee?" he threw the stone getting 3 skips.

"I was just doing what was expected of me now that I'm Alpha. I thought it would be easier."

 Ahanu put his hand on my shoulder. "I'm guessing you forgot about the full moon tomorrow and the pack run. How are you going to explain when someone is walking around letting it all hang out if they shifted and forgot their clothes?"

"Damn it! Okay just let me think for a minute." I put my head in my hands, why does this have to be difficult.

"Tyee, I got it. Just take her down to the spring tomorrow and stay there for the night. The old hut is still up, so little miss queen doesn't have to rough it. Just say it's part of our wedding traditions. Maybe see what's hiding underneath that giant dress. You could fit 3 of our huts under there."

Ahanu wiggled his eyebrows at me. I punched him in his arm, hard enough to where his bruise will last more than a minute before his wolf heals him.

"I think I'll take her for a few days and get to know her. Can you lead the pack run and remind people to make sure they carry their clothes with them if they plan on shifting?" Ahanu nodded in agreement.

"Ahanu, make sure the border is secured while I'm away and double the patrols. I have a feeling the were-bears are going to find out about my agreement with the humans and try to make a move against us. I also want you to send two of our best to go check out the spring today before we arrive, sniff it out and make sure no one has been there recently. They can mind link me directly to let me know."

Ahanu turned his attention to the river. "I'll get it done."

 I can already tell he's talking through the mind link.

"Do you really think they would try and make war against us Tyee?" I gave a slight nod. "Nothing is for certain but I know the bear chief isn't going to be happy about us helping the humans against securing their borders against them." On that note, I turned to head back to get ready for the celebration tonight.

I entered my hut and found Jennie dressed in our traditional mating ceremonials. The dress was white, almost sheer, like it’s hinting at exposing her nipples, draped around her was a long, sleeveless, white and tan fur that trailed behind her, the top of her head was crowned with baby’s breathe which entwined with a thick braid going down her back. She was flawless and she was mine. I stood there unable to speak when she started to move to cover herself.
