Anna felt something tickling her brows and she couldn't help but furrow it. She heard a muffled chuckle and frowned. The tickling came again and she groaned, this time she heard a stifled laughter and couldn't help but open her eyes. She stared deeply at a pair of amused blue eyes, she wanted to complain but then remembering his fever, she jumped up to feel his forehead.
He just lay there staring at her with a sweet smile and letting her feel his temperature. Anna sighed when she noticed that his body was just warm. She looked into his eyes and she could see that his smile reached there, his smile and something else, something she couldn't name."How did you turn in my arms?" Anna walked into the house, her mother was sitting at the dinning table while typing into her laptop "hi mom.""Hey baby, how was school today?"She shrugged "fine.""Did you do the math's quiz?"She nodded."How was it?""Okay" Anna replied "where is Jason?""In his room. Why didn't you tell me?""Tell you what?""That Jason has a girlfriend?" Veronica smiled while looking intently at her.Anna bit her lower lip "I only found out yesterday. How did you know?""A beautiful girl came asking for him and when I asked him, he said he knows her. She is with him in his room now. I figured it out because Jason has never invited any girl home.""Oh" was the sound Anna made and swallowed, Courtney is with Jason in his room? Just what is she doing here? "I will go up now" she said and Veronica nodded before going back to what she is doing. Anna walked up the stairs to her room. She dropped her bag on the floor and fell on the bed. Jason parked his father's Toyota in front of Megan's home. He stepped out of the car and straightened his bow tie, he looked very handsome in the tuxedo he was putting on. The music ended and they all returned to their table. The MC, which happened to be the school president opened the time to vote for the prom queen and king. The paper that contains the name of the students was distributed and everybody buried their head to the paper while trying to make their choice. The next day, Jason broke his SIM card, he didn't want Courtney to call and start begging like she had been doing since last night.
