2. I hate this.

Jason's POV

I walk out of the club with a smirk and a girl by my side. I told the guys I would be able to get her in my bed before three a.m. I'm gonna win this.

"Where to?" She asks me, while trying to look even sexier in her short skirt, high heels, and tight top.

"I was thinking of going back to my place..." I shrug.

"Sure. As long as mommy isn't home." She whispers and squeezes my hand.

"I have my own place." I lean against my red mustang.

"Well then, let's get to it." She bit her lip.

---

I wake up with a pounding in my head and an empty space in my bed. I rub my eyes and notice that I'm naked. What did I do yesterday? All I remember is going to that club and drinking. My question is answered when a tall and short haired brunette walks out of my bathroom with just her panties on.

"Morning. I was just about to leave." She smiles before she bends down in front of me to look for something. I can't help but stare at her ass. "Have you seen my bra? I can't find it." She gets up, interrupting my moment. I quickly get my shorts on and stand next to her. I wrap my arms around her waist and pull her closer to my body.

"No one is asking you to leave," I say, squeezing her ass.

"I have to go to work." She giggles. "Help me look for that bra," she pushes me off. She leans down once again but purposefully tries to make her butt look bigger. I slap her ass making her jump.

"Looking for this?" I hold it out and check her out one last time. Man did I make a good choice last night.

"Have a nice day." she takes it out of my hand and walks out.

Ring. Ring.

"What?" I answer the incoming facetime call with annoyance.

"Did you do it?" I Chad ask before his face shows up, then I remember the bet.

"I win," I smirk. "Imma need that money you promised."

"Told you he would! That idiot never quits," Ry yells from the background.

"Yeah whatever, So have you heard from Scotty?" My voice is suddenly quieter.

"Yeah, we have a new target. Come to my house and we'll review his profile."

"Yeah okay." I nod hesitantly and walk to the kitchen.

"....Jason?"

"What?" I pour myself a glass of milk.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, no, I'm good." I lie. I really am not okay, at all. I really want to stop doing this. I tried telling Scooter that I didn't want to help him kill innocent people anymore, but he threatened to kill me if I quit. Not just me, but my mom too. Ryland, Chad and Chis are the only ones who understand, but I wouldn't want to abandon them with this monster either.

"Okay... Well, hurry up, I have a feeling this one's really important." Ry hangs up. I hate this.

---

I walk into the house with confidence and my usual smirk.

"Where's my money?" I plop on the couch across from Ryland and Chad.

"Here." Ry chucks the money at me. I proudly catch it before stuffing it in my back pocket.

"So this is our new guy." Scotty throws three files on the coffee table. I open the file handed to me to read about our next victim. "Charles Votmin."

"Vomit?" Chris asks, trying not to laugh.

"Votmin." Scotty corrects, "This guy is the only key we have to figure out this whole thing."

“Why not just say Vermin?” Chris mumbles.

"Family?" Chad asks, reviewing the papers.

"Two kids and divorced from his wife a month ago."

"Didn't want her in the middle of this," Ry nods to himself.

"So he knows we're coming." I nod and point at a picture taken of him.

"He has all the info we need on Mandy."

"How? I thought no one had seen Mandy..."

"No one has. But he knows some things that could help us."

"This better be worth it. This guy has 20 armed bodyguards everywhere he goes." Chad shows us five pictures.

"No." I shake my head, "30." I point at three 'tourists' and two cars, "There are two guys in each car, you see that shadow?" I point at a blurry shadow, "He is watching from the buildings..."

"Which means There are two others on top of buildings."

"30 people watching out for him," Ry concludes.

"So how do we get to him?"

"Simple. Take out the eyes from above first."

"We take their place and shoot at the guys closest to Charles."

"What if they shoot at us?"

"They won't be able to, they want their men safe from other possible shooters, we'll be fine."

"So we just shoot them all?"

"Yeah, we want him alive... Right?" I ask Scotty.

"Alive and breathing, I don't care if you have to kill thousands of people, just get him." He nods and leaves us.

"But the ones we don't kill will still take him to their cars."

"Okay, I have an idea. Chad shoots the drivers. Ryland, you have the men on the left and I'll take the one’s on right." I conclude.

"Who's going to get 'Vomit'?" Ry asks.

"They will probably call back up, we need someone on the grounds to get him..." I trail off and look up at the boys.

"No, we can't." Ryland shakes his head before I finish.

"I'm fine, I can do it." Chris nods.

"No, nevermind it's too dangerous for you." I shake my head, pretending to regret the idea.

"Dangerous my ass!" he rolls his eyes.

"I'll go on the grounds, Chris can take my place and I can go and trail Charles. By then you guys would have killed most of his men. Charles will think I'm a new bodyguard."

"Okay, I guess that can work." Ry slowly nods in agreement.

"You think this will work?" Chris worriedly looks at the picture in his hands.

"It better work, or else you might as well go on the run again," Scotty responds in all seriousness.

"He has a meeting today, in four hours."

"We can't do this another time. This is our only chance we have."

"He leaves to Paris later tonight," Chris points out.

"So... We are doing this today?"

All three of my friends turn their heads towards me for agreement.

"We're doing this today," I confirm.
