Lucas's POV.

As I watched Catherine hurriedly make her way towards me, my heart clenched with a mixture of worry and anger. The sight of Lauren, my own son, attempting to woo Catherine back after all the pain he had caused her, ignited a fire within me that threatened to consume everything in its path. I wanna deal with him but I'm holding back because of her and her kids. I don't want to cause any drama in her life, she's just climbing the Hall of Fame and I won't do anything to disrupt her goals.

"Red," I called out as she reached me, her eyes darting nervously toward the car parked nearby. "Are you alright?"

She nodded, but I could see the lies in her eyes. She was in confusion and I wish I could sort out everything but Lauren is an idiot, a very idiotic human who would do anything to satisfy his male ego.
