I had known that the past might come back to haunt us but I had not cared to think that it might be so soon, I had thought I would have become a wrinkly old woman before it happened but it seemed that having a child who was way too smart for her own good was not a very good thing.

I wondered why she could not just accept her life as it was, she should have enjoyed everything I worked hard for her to become but no, she just had to go digging into things that could only bring problems for everyone else around her.
