CHAPTER NINE 

MELISSA

Those pair of gaze burned  intently at me .

I was reeled by his sudden presence,  

For how long that had he been standing there without my knowledge?  Had he heard my last words.

My heart gave  a frantic jump , I struggled to  regained control of myself and mask my face to a neutral expression. 

His presence shouldn't matter to me, we were totally nothing to each other, besides he probably wasn't here to see me, it had been two weeks since that day, so why would he suddenly remember me?

My doubts  were blown away when he suddenly filled the room with his presence, the whole space spontaneously became too small.

From the corners of my lids, I saw Maya scurrying her way out of the room, her face was paper pale,  I guess she could only talk big  , now that the tiger was here she was leaving me alone to face whatever danger and misfortune it brought along with
