Desires

Emma

I yawned and looked at the old leather watch strapped to my wrist before turning my head to Caleb. "Hurry, will you?” I urged.

I moaned each time he thrust inside of me, not that I felt anything but to boost his manly ego. Truth is, my boyfriend Caleb, was small down there. His cock was the size of my index finger. It only teased and barely made it past the entrance of my channel.

And when he asks if I came each time we fucked, I'd say yes just to make him feel good about himself. I would tease my mold when he was done to get myself off.

I had become skilled at self-pleasure at a young age, getting to know my own body and the kind of touch that worked best for me. Caleb never quite grasped it. Not only was he lacking in size, but he was always in a hurry. leaving things unfinished.

Didn’t that apply to most boys?

But only one man set the bar high, or should I say men because it was the two of them - my stepbrothers, Liam and Aiden. It was the night at the movies, they had taken turns kissing me.

I loved the way fire danced in my veins. Heat pooled in my belly. A deep thrumming erupted further down, right between my legs.

Unfortunately,  they left for New York City the next day. I hadn't seen them again ever since, nor communicated with them, or Maybe I wanted things to be that way.

But every time I touched myself, they were the ones I thought about. I had a good feeling they'd be different. They'd touch me the way I desired, and they’d take me the way I craved. Not like boys, but like real men. I hated that things were cut short between us before it even got to start.

I was eighteen, and now that I just turned twenty, the experience of that night redefined my sexual life and desires. My appetite was insatiable.

Caleb gripped my waist hard, his fingers painfully digging into my skin. With a groan, I held onto the stall divider, gasping into Sarah’s small stable. My breasts jiggled up and down each time he thrust forward.

Sarah kicked back and neighed as if she understood the scene unfolding before her. “Good girl,” I whispered, reaching out to scratch behind her ears, and it looked up at me with huge, molten brown eyes.

"What the hell is with the rush, Emma? I just got inside you.”

I rolled my eyes as I ceased grinding back at him. “You were late. It’s almost time for breakfast and mum…”

He fisted my hair and pulled my head up until I was facing him. “Shut the fuck up, Em.” He cut me off and connected his mouth to mine.

I winced, "Fuck. That hurts.”

He loosened his grip on my hair. "How am I gonna cum if you won’t stop bitching.” With a rough flex of his hips, he shoved himself deeper, yet did nothing. I rolled my eyes into my head again, suppressing the urge to click my tongue.

We were abruptly interrupted by a voice I couldn’t ignore. “Emma, darling, breakfast is ready!” My mother’s voice called out, loud and demanding.

"Fuck. I gotta go.”

"Hang on, I’m almost there,” Caleb grunted as he moved once again, and I glanced at my watch impatiently. I wiggled my waist, pulling him out of me undone.

“What are you doing? I’m not finished.” He groaned,  frustrated as he brushed his slick golden hair back with his fingers.

"I love you, Cal, but I gotta go," I said, hastily pulling up my pair of well-worn jeans and buttoning my flannel shirt, attire that was as much a part of my ranch life as the very air I breathed.

Caleb stared at me, frustrated, his thing still as hard, and pointy as a six-inch nail. Not caring about his mood, I darted out of the barn and made my way to the ranch house.

The morning sun painted a warm glow across the ranch, tempting me with the promise of a new day. I smiled as a chilly breeze blew by, making the strands of my dark raven curls blow around my face. Shoving my hands into my pocket, I deeply breathed in the morning air.

“Emma!” My mother’s voice broke me out of my reverie.

As I entered the house, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee enveloped me, and there he was, my ever-dapper stepdad, Mr. Hasting, sitting at the dining table with all the sophistication of a character from a classic Western movie. His two sons got their hotness from him, I won't deny that fact.

I despised the old man as much as my Mom loved him. I had to put up with him even though it was hard for me to do because he made her happy.

My Mom moved gracefully in the kitchen, but the air in the room was laden with a certain seriousness.

“Good morning Mom,” I greeted as I hopped onto a stool, my elbow resting on the countertop.

Filling my coffee mug, “You were out early today. Where were you? Before I could respond, "Never mind.” She pushed the mug forward. “Emma, we need to talk,” she said softly.

I raised an eyebrow, “What is it, Mom?” My spoon guided my coffee into a slow swirl in my mug.

She took a deep breath, her gaze darting momentarily to her husband who cleared his throat with the grace of a politician trying to evade a tough question. “Liam and Aiden are returning,” my mother proclaimed, her voice tinged with just a smidge of apprehension.

I nearly spat out my coffee. Liam and Aiden? My heart rapidly pounded in my chest, and my breath became incoherent. They are coming back? What brought them back from the wide world all of a sudden?

I couldn’t face them after that night encounter. I remember locking myself in my bedroom and refusing to open the door even when they came knocking to tell me they were going back to New York City. Will I be able to face them now?

“Why?” I managed to stutter out.

My stepfather leaned back in his chair, his face etched with the kind of wrinkles that could only come from years of sipping whiskey on the porch. “The ranch is in a bit of a pickle, Emma. Your mother and I have been trying our dandiest, but we need someone with more ranch know-how. Liam’s experience could be a lifesaver.”

“I don’t need them.” I blurted out. Maybe I do need them, but certainly not for the ranch. The audacity of them doubting my ranching abilities ruffled my feathers. “I’ve been wrangling this place for two years,” I retorted, my voice laced with irritation. “I know my way around here better than a jackrabbit in a carrot patch. I don’t need Liam or anyone else to fix things.”

“Emma, we trust you. It’s just that…” My mother’s hand settled on mine, and she gave me an empathetic look. “Liam’s got some ranch magic up his sleeve that could come in handy in these trying times.”

Yanking her hands off, “Get your filthy hands off me.” Auf! That came out wrong. I looked between them, shocked by my outburst. A stunned silence settled in the room for a moment.

“Emma, don’t talk to your mother like that.” Mr. Hasting demanded. “You are being disrespectful.”

“That’s some moral high ground coming from a man who is sleeping with his best friend's wife, "I revealed in a soft tone. "I'm ashamed of you two."

“Emma!” My Mom yelled, her hand crashing down on my face as she gave me a tight slap that managed to move my head to the side.

I held my cheek, my jaw jutted in shock. It was the first time she ever hit me. The pain shot through my veins, heightening my already bottled resentment.

Tears welled up in her eyes and she broke down in tears. “What is wrong with you, Emma?”

I turned and stormed out of the room. Unbelievable that she could not have faith in me to save this ranch.

I watched my father run this place since I was a kid. I learned everything I know from him. I am experienced enough. I just wanted her to have a little faith in me, to trust me, but as always, she would rather listen to Mr. Hasting than her daughter.

I bolted into my room and kicked the door shut with the back of my foot. I pressed my back against the door and screamed out my frustrations. “Ahhhhh!!!.” Hot tears cascaded down my face and blurred my vision.

I sank to the ground as I marinated in my resentment toward my mother, who, in my humble opinion, had replaced my father too fast. It felt like she had forgotten about him and the life we had built together on this ranch.

The bitterness of my resentment was as sharp as a cactus spine and just as difficult to pull out.

And with my stepbrothers coming back, my entire life is about to take a drastic turn.
