Chapter 1: A vision about an attractive man.

“You need a man in your life!” My best friend said as she sat down in front of me.

“No, I don’t, I have you,” I said laughing at the frown that pulled her lips down.

“That is the problem! You shouldn’t be just fine with me,” she exasperated taking a sip of the wine that I had ordered before she had arrived, “You need to get laid.”

Her last statement was a serious one and realizing that the conversation was heading into a direction that I didn’t really like I looked away and took a sip of my own wine.

“It’s just as I saw in my vision,” I murmured trying to bring her attention back at the main topic at hand.

“I knew that was the reason you insisted we come to this fancy hotel even though you don’t like them as much. I am sure you wouldn’t even like the food here,” Lisa muttered shaking her head at me with an annoyed expression gracing her face. It made me feel bad for a small second but it was hard to control myself. What happens to me isn’t normal.

How can I possibly not be intrigued by it?

Her angry words brought my attention back to her, “How many times do I have to tell you Silia, you don’t have to follow each one of your visions, you might fall into trouble someday.”

Her anger was more a result of the worry that she felt for me and that fact always made me smile. I didn’t have anybody else but her in this world.

“Oh come on don’t give me that innocent smile,” she said, “You always do that ever since the first day we met in college and you sat next to me.”

Taking a bite of the slightly pricier than normal chicken salad I couldn’t help but grimace at the taste in disappointment. She had been right the old diner around the corner of our apartment had better tasting food than this.

Nonetheless a smile curled onto my lips again and answering her I said, “But you know it makes me happy to see them come true every time. Even though my visions are slightly altered, the fact that I might be able to see future even for a little bit makes me feel kind of special in its own way.”

This had been my secret that no one else but she knew about. I am sure anyone else would have called me stupid or a liar if I were to tell them about possessing such an ability but this brown eyed beauty accepted me just the way I am.

“It is that face that you make that I can’t deny and just follow you along in these ridiculous plans of yours. I mean give me a break, why can’t you just cry to me about normal boy stuff instead of chasing after visions from the fucking future?” she sighed and though she used harsh words her expression had been soft making me grin back at her like an idiot.

“You don’t need to worry about me; my clairvoyance is really lame as compared to the other people on the internet. I can only predict some place or thing that I am going to go to or I am about to try and I think most of them only come true because I drag you to those places with me after I see them in my visions,” I chuckled making her laugh along, “But I believe that this ability is still a gift and I want to see where this takes me.”

She looked like she was about to say something when suddenly her phone rang and looking at the caller ID once she narrowed her brows and then sighing she pushed her chair away and got up from the table, “I am so sorry but it is a work call, I need to take this. I will be back late so take a taxi home today and keep the doors locked properly. I will quietly let myself in later so go to sleep.”

Her words held finality in her voice as her expression told me to follow the instructions that she had laid out without any questions and nodding at her I said, “It will be lonely without you so come back soon.”

That line made her smile her first real smile and grabbing her purse she left me with a final wave.

Realizing that now that she was gone I had nothing better to do I paid for the meal and decided to leave to catch an early night’s sleep.

Walking to the elevator I noticed a man enter it and the doors begin to close. Running to reach it in time I shout at the person inside to keep it open for me but nothing happens and extending out a hand I managed to step into it, barely making it in time as the door closed behind me again.

Rude.

I couldn’t help but think that when I noticed that the entire lift had been empty save for one man standing in the corner. Couldn’t he have pressed the button and opened up the lift for me when it wasn’t even jam packed?

Wanting to look at the face of the rude jerk that had ignored me I discreetly glanced to the side and felt disappointment and awe struck me.

It was embarrassing to say this but why did god always give the attractive guys the worst personalities?

His sleek jaw was the first thing my eyes fell on followed by the grey eyes that were sternly set and glaring at the doors of the lift as if scolding it for failing to close on time and keeping me out of it. Even the color of his platinum blonde hair, almost white seemed to match the cold personality of his as it sat on top of his head with not a single fly away out of its formation.

For a quick second it seemed like his eyes flitted to the side and met my blue ones.

The suddenness of the gaze made a sensation run through me and suddenly he was kissing me. Those pink lips were hot against my own as it sped and nipped at my sensitive skin that he took against my permission. A hand came to cage me against the wall of the elevator, making me gasp at the cold metal bar that dug into my waist and gave him the chance to glide his tongue into my mouth.

What was happening?
