CHAPTER -1

Kimberly P. O. V

(Ten years old Kimberly)

It is few days after Thanksgiving, my grandfather came to meet us. It is first time my father's father came to meet us. My grandfather was against of their marriage. He wanted dad to marry of his friend's daughter from his faculty.

I do not know what my grandfather do or this facalty is all about but dad said he start working at very young age.

I never meet my father's family or mother's. I have seen picture of my father's family. He has a big family but one this is wired that every family members has violet eyes. My grandfather eyes are lifeless and dull violet where as my father's eyes is bright violet and full of life.

I have hazel eyes and brown hair just like my mother. Sometimes my eyes flash light violet colour which freaks me out sometimes. My parents are both good-looking. Dad is muscular built six ft three hight with black hairs, violet eyes ,long eye lashes,thick eyebrows, sharp nose, sharp jaw and high cheek bones. My mom is curvy, long brown hair, hazle almond eyes, thick and long eye lashes, five ft seven hight, high cheek bones, oval shape face, perfect eyebrows,small sharp nose and full lips. They both appears like they are coming out of magazine where as I look like a ugly duckling compare to them.

My dad refuse to work with my grandfather and after my parents marriage grandfather drowned dad from his inheritance. Dad now works as CEO in his own editing company and mom works there too.

But I do not know what suddenly changed my grandfather's mind after ten years when he suddenly came to visit us. Through out the night he is giving an indifferent look to my parents and my mother had a scared look on her face. Dad is on the edge through out the night. Tension is very thick.

I went to bed early . Around midnight I start hearing yelling coming from the leaving room. Different voices are coming out from the room. I went down the stairs silently and hide behind the pillar near the stair case. I saw a group of people with different weapons standing behind my grandfather and mom is hiding behind my father. Father and grandfather are yelling at each other.

"WE HAVE TO TAKE HER" grandfather said while pointing his fingure at my mother. My mother is trembling in fear, tears are running down her face.

"Leave us father I am no letting you take Patrika from me".

" ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND. DO YOU FORGET WE ARE BORN TO KILL THIS CREATURES NOT TO LOVE THEM".

"Please leave father" Dad said calmly.

"IT'S A SHAME THAT THE SON OF HEAD OF HUNTERS FELL IN LOVE WITH HIS PRY. I NEVER APPROVED YOUR MARRIAGE .BUT NOWING WHAT SHE REALLY IS THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN.I WILL KILL HER WITH MY OWN HANDS.SHE HAS TO DIE".Mom whimpered.

" Father it's long time ago now we are no more related. You drowned me ten years ago and never meet Patrika. So I ask you respectfully get out of my house along with your team".Grandfather is now fuming.

Grandfather take out a revolver and pointed it towards dad and mom. I cover my mouth with my hand and start backing towards the stair while my eyes focused on the scene in front of me. I do not see the vash behind me and crash down to it.

Suddenly all the attention turn towards me. My grandfather hatred filled eyes bored in mine.

"Ah finally the last member of the pathetic family blessed us with bher grace. Come come here join the family reunion".I shake my head vigorously, my hand still covering my mouth and tears are streaming down my eyes.

" Jonathan leave my daughter out of this. This is between me and you. You wanted me to join the faculty from the very begining" Dad said.

"True but this matter is not about you. This is about your wife and daughter. They can not stay alive " A sinister look is on my grandfather's face.

My father charged towards grandfather but he is pinned down by the peoples that are behind grandfather.

Dad tried to free himself but they handcuffed him. Dad thrashed in their hold and cursing at them. My mom tried to free dad but those people caught her arms and do not let her move forward.

A woman came near mom with a silver collar in her hand. She put the collar on mom's neck. Mom couch down in pain, she whimpered and cried in agony.

"LEAVE MY WIFE YOU BASTARD"dad side in angey and hurt voice.

When this all was happening I stand there as statue do not know what to do.

" Bring the kid here " Jonathan ordered one of his men.I tried to make a run upstairs . Before I can reach first step the man tightly grip my arm and yank me back. He grip both of my arms behind my back and make me stand before Jonathan.

I look at Jonathan with equal hatred. He gasped my face with his fingures.

"Eyes down kid do not want to face the same fate your mother is about to face then keep your eyes down".He let go of my face with a jurk.

" Jonathan leave my daughter "dad said still trying to free himself. Mom pass out in pain. I do not know what is there in the silver collar that cause her so much pain her whole neck is now red.

The man standing behind my back cover my face with sack and my hands are cuffed . I start twisting around. Trying to free myself but all attempts are fertile.

Suddenly I am lifted on sombody's sholder. I start yelling. The person start walking. I am now outside my house as the cold air of night touched my skin.

A sound of opening of car door is heard. Suddenly the man through me on the car seat. Another person in now beside me. I can tell the person is my dad .

"Kim is that you? ".

" Yes it's me".

"Sweetheart stay calm I will make all of us get out of this situation".

" Dad I am scared".

"I know darling".

A last body is thrown in the car and the door shut. After few minutes the car start moving. It was the last time we were in our house.
