Lucy's POV

I eyed the girl who was glaring at me, fire burning in her eyes, and I felt a flicker of exhilaration stir inside me. Her broken expression was one of my kinks, seeing it always made me excited.

I twirled strands of hair between my fingers, a habit that had long since become permanent.

Staring intently at her face, not wanting to miss a single flicker of emotion, my lips curled. “At the end of the day, the choice is in your hands. You can decide which one you want. So... dear Kylie, would you rather find somewhere else to sleep tonight or be a good girl and hunt for me?”

Her jaw tightened. Her eyes red and burning, as if she wanted to swallow me whole. And then... that look. She was swallowing her pride and plotting something.

Delicious.

My own plan was already set, one that would benefit me either way.

I was curious about her relationship with Elijah. Deeply curious.

I’d tried asking Cole, but all he did was glare at me and tell me to shut the fuck up. In the end, I had no

  • Sins With My Ex's Father   Chapter 59

Kylie’s POV My breath caught, my stomach fluttering with realization. Of course. Sunlight. The most basic way to deal with a vampire. The oldest trick in the book.My inner self laughed wickedly as I approached the windows, pulling aside the massive, luxurious curtains with all my strength. The bright moon came into view. It loomed over the dark clouds, moving slowly and beautifully like a shy maiden wearing the night as her veil. And anyone could guess what would happen the next morning.Sunlight.Pouring in.Burning through.Burning the old ghost. I turned around slowly, taking in the room again.I should leave.But... I wasn’t satisfied. Not yet.I needed to do more. This alone wasn't enough to deal with this creature. I couldn't remember where I had learned this again, but it was mentioned that the older the vampires, the more immune they were to the light elements. They had long shed their fear of sun, or fire. Sunlight no more could scald their skin, and fire no longer sent

  • Sins With My Ex's Father   Chapter 58

Kylie’s POVI glanced over my shoulder, taking one last look around.I took a deep breath, chanting my mantra. Then I reached for the door. It creaked slightly as I turned the knob, but I stopped myself from flinching. The door inched open, revealing a dimly lit room beyond. It was massive, easily the size of a ballroom, but with a kind of eerie stillness that made it feel even larger than intended, and standing there, I felt so little compared to it. The high ceiling arched like the ribs of some long-dead beast, with thick wooden beams stretching across the top like ancient bones. Shadows danced along the stone walls, broken only by the soft, golden flicker of candlelight. There are dozens of those candles – maybe hundreds – and they're perched on wrought-iron sconces, balanced on towering candelabras, even clustered in glass lanterns on the floor. The flames swayed as if they could sense my presence, but I knew it was from the gentle breeze that had followed me in. They casted long

  • Sins With My Ex's Father   Chapter 57

Kylie’s POVThere was a moment of silence, then the companion’s helpless voice echoed, “You’re right. Let's give it a try.”The other party chuckled loudly, voice filled with happiness. “I knew it. I knew you’d agree. You think I didn’t see you salivating when those werewolf chicks were brought in? Hahaha.”“Wait, you did?” the other person said, incredulous.“Of course I did. Why else do you think I invited you out? To take a look at the moon or just to invite a Senior to tell us what's currently going on?” “Damn, you’re such a schemer.”“Hehe~ And you’re such a pretender.”They bantered carelessly, leaving me shaking my head as I remembered my dearest friend in the pack.Mia, my partner in crime. We were always like this too. Carefully planning on our next scheme, one agreeing and the other disagreeing before we would come to a decision, which is always a Yes one. And all of a sudden, I couldn't help but miss that tickling menace. If she were here… I shook my head instantly. No

  • Sins With My Ex's Father   Chapter 56

And so, I began.I couldn't hear any movement, at least for now, and so I was quite confident no one was around. I looked to my right, past the building I had escaped from, where the wilderness lay. There was a tall fence around this ghostly mansion we were in, and the first step to my safety was getting out. The fence stood around two metres tall, and before it were towering trees and grasses that reached half its height.Without hesitation, I darted toward it. I ran as fast as I could, and finally, I was in the middle of the green, and right behind me was the fence. I was already panting from the quick run, my heart drumming in my chest as I crouched low, staring ahead while racking my brain for how I could make it out.Voices and footsteps suddenly echoed in front of me.I stiffened. I didn’t dare breathe out. I pressed my palm against my chest, trying to keep my heart in check.Through the intertwined branches which perfectly shaded me from view, I peered, my eyes locking onto

  • Sins With My Ex's Father   Chapter 55

Is the Goddess playing me right now? How can it be locked?!How?Moreover, it was sealed shut with a thick iron latch. Definitely impassable. Not unless I had fangs and super strength – which just happened to be what I was lacking the most. I mean – breaking it is the same as demanding attention from that vampire. It was a big move that wouldn't end well. I almost burst into tears as my hope crumbled into pieces. I was only short of sobbing right now. But I wasn't about to give up. Not me, Kylie. So I felt around. The gate was rusty, and gates like this tend to have a hole that could possibly fit me. That was unrealistic, but it couldn't be over for me yet. I felt around slowly, making sure not to make the lightest sound. No. No hope. I crouched down, feeling the wall around the gate in desperation, but no gap, no hole. What should I do now? A sigh escaped my lips... Maybe...maybe I was meant to be a meal—My feet kicked something, and my eyes widened with disbelief. I

  • Sins With My Ex's Father   Chapter 54

Kylie's POVWhen I woke up, I was surrounded by nothing but darkness. And the fact that my head was ringing so badly just made it worse. When I try to sit up, I felt dizzy for a split second, then slowly, memories of how I ended up here started coming back.Yes.Those creatures had drunk my blood.According to them, werewolf blood tasted even better than human. Two of them feasted on me like I was some delicacy, and the aftermath? Me fainting from losing way too much blood – and finally waking up here.I reached out to rub my neck, where I was sure their fangs had torn through. I cursed under my breath, wishing them eternal damnation. Then my eyes slowly scanned my surroundings.Right now, I was on a bed whose color I couldn’t even make out. The girls I'd been in the carriage with earlier were also on the bed, and our condition was pretty much the same, since I could vividly remember us sharing the same fate. And now came the most important question. How do I leave this place? Actua
