My aim was one thing: I had told Avisa already what I wanted, to kill my mother, for killing my father because of her insecurities.
I wanted to see her face when I, the daughter she was so ashamed of her, killed her. I wanted to see her eyes when I disappointed her just when she took her last breath.
I hated how she was rescued; they should have left her there so she could suffer, but at least she was helping us take care of the enemy.
Getting closer to her was quite hard, but soon I was face to face with the woman that gave birth to me.
“How does it feel, mother? Do you feel dumb now?” she clearly was not swallowing her pride because she attacked me as I spoke.
But she was already weakened, and her slaps were very weak. Her nails couldn’t even scrape me.
