Inaya’s POV

I felt his warmth envelop me, his chest pressing against my back and in that moment, I could only hear my heartbeat.

My heart was pounding because I was scared and nothing else.

“Have you lost it? I almost broke my face,” I forcefully shoved him away from me, “Can’t you tell you are….” I paused when I noticed Marcel wasn’t moving.

“Sir….” I noticed my hands were wet with blood after touching Marcel’s back.

Marcel was severely injured, I checked his body and saw two major injuries. One on his tummy from the glass earlier and the second one from the explosion just now.

“Sir…. Sir….” I called. I touched his body and his temperature was very high.

What do I do? There was no vehicle coming this way and there was no phone with me. I wanted to go look for help, but I can’t just leave him here alone, especially in this condition.

“Inaya,” I stood up from the floor when I heard Eveline’s voice.
