Unknown Pov. Clair storms into the room startling Kate Amnell who has been panicking trying to find her mistress. It was not common for Clair to have left without notice, but never had it been in the depths of the night and too without her carriage or favorite horse. “Get me water” she backed out orders almost immediately. Kate Amnell rushed to the kitchen fetching a bottle of water. Clair looked nothing like her previous self. The self-dignified lady, with ravishing beauty, but here she was covered in smelling mud and her hair nest for forest creatures. “Your father came calling my lady” Kate Amnell announced, trying hard not to displease her mistress. Clair was already in a foul mood and one wrong was all it takes to have her anger flying all over the place. “Prepare me a warm bath and the carriage, we depart for my father's mansion immediately” she instructed walking off to her chambers. Kate wasted no time in informing the other servants and hurrying up to help her mistress
Unknown Pov. The guards had all retired to the camp but no one was calm. Nathan and the others all paste around every eye staring towards the forest. Hours went by and nothing came forward. “Should we go after him? I am scared” Kurt walks up to Nathan and releases a weak smile. Kurt was proving brave, but deep down Nathan was aware he was only trying this hard. “We can't…come with me” Nathan goes ahead while Kurt follows behind trying hard to keep his legs from shaking as he hides his trembling hands. “We can't go after him” Nathan reveals as soon as they are in the comfort of the lord's tent. “We've not found Sister-in-law” Kurt whispers. The servants were all dismissed. “I know, but she is safe,” Nathan says placing a hand on Kurt's shoulders. “I know you feel bad, but your brother has everything covered. Now I want you to look into her servant..it may be a feeling but I do not feel so good about her."Kurt was taken aback by the sudden suggestion. Nathan was not the type to g
Unknown Pov. The water was suddenly too calm, the forest grew silent and the birds all seemed to have retired to their resting abode. “Something is coming,” the rogue leader says, staring around. “Don't be a baby, what could be coming? It's night and some creatures walk at night, get over it” Clair Anderson snaps. She was satisfied with the outcome of today's mission. “Your pay will be doubled and make sure not even a word. Else…” She hesitated a little, but the men did understand. A woman as powerful and influential as Clair was certainly not the type to mess around with. Not only was she willing to kill her opponents to reclaim hers, but she was more than willing to kill more to make sure the secret remains buried for life. “We better get out of here, the last I heard Damon is back” Clair announced walking away from the water. Shanon and Sharon had an emergency reason why they hurried home to attend to their father who requested their presence urgently. Clair walks into the w
Unknown Pov. Sarah walks back into the forest, searching hard for a way out. The northern forest wasn't chosen just for the lake in which they drowned her mistress. While it was filled with wild beasts and unclaimed wolves, it was the home harboring creatures deadly to werewolves. Sarah ran as fast as she could as the steps behind her became closer, she could feel it closing in on her the harder she ran. “I don't want to die just yet” was all she could murmur as she ran. Clair Anderson was not to be trusted. She had gotten orders to play along from home but now she feared her life to be in danger. “I shouldn't have trusted them” she laments in the dark. The moon was the only light guiding her as she bumped into countless trees running for her life. “Ranah… Ranah... I need you... I need you now” she called on to her wolf but the silence from the other end was all she got. It was not surprising. “You ought to be with me, you should be by my side and not fighting with me. What type
Unknown Pov. “My lady... My lady” Sarah, panicked voice gently stretched into Seranda’s ears waking her up from her painful sleep. Unlike the soft mattress and comfortable duvet with silk sheets her body has rather become acquainted with over the past few months, she was met with nothing but a hard surface. Seranda turns grumpily unable to move her hands and legs at will, her eyes quickly snap open staring at the men before her who hold a generous smug on their faces. “What do you want?” she asked, trying to feel her legs amidst the chains she was held on in. “Isn't that a dumb question to ask?” one of the men replied. He had a red cap over his head knitted out of wool. Seranda could tell just from their choice of clothes and smell they were not wolves from around. “You Are rogues” she stated the obvious fact making the men laugh in her face. “So what if we are slaves? You've got no right or status to request anything of us other than your death.” Seranda stares at the men, not
Unknown Pov. Kurt ran his way back to the camp, the voice he had heard was not very familiar making him even more worried. He was quick to head to the Lord's Tent but unlike the crowd he had expected, there were only omega and other staff going about their duties. “Has any of the ministers been here?” Kurt asked a passing maid who shook her head trembling at the urgency of the sudden interrogation. Kurt was not feared by most but not all. He was after all a royal prince and as such the servants did make sure not to step on his bad side. Rumores had it that all the princess did had a moment of weakness making their scariest beast come to life. “Who called on me?” he asked, but there was no answer. He walks around the tenth asking but like the very first, no one had an incline on what he was talking about. Kurt tried staying calm but the thought of Seranda being in danger came like a flash. “Oh no!!!” he half screamed dashing outside and running towards the direction they had set
