Chapter 15: Mine To Begin With

Raviora's Point of View

Rubbing my eyes in the morning is the first thing I do when I wake up. I slept well despite how horrendous yesterday was.

Adam is no longer beside me. There’s no sign of him in the entire hotel room. I went directly to the bathroom and squirmed when I found out I have no bras on. My lips are pale and the black circles under my eyes are pretty visible.

I looked at myself in the mirror before sighing heavily. I went out of the bathroom and went directly to my towel, which was placed above the table.

“You can grab your breakfast here, Miss.”

I jolted when I heard Maxwell’s voice from behind. He’s standing behind near the door wearing his complete black suit.

“Oh my God!” I said, looking so annoyed.

Maxwell stood up firmly before bowing his head a bit. “Apologies for startling you, Miss Raviora.”

My heart came back to its normal phase. I looked away awkwardly because of his gestures he just showed me. Slowly, I wrapped my towel around my body before nodding.
