“At the airport, miss.” He answered.

My eyebrow furrowed. Did Adam arrive already? Because as far as I know, the airport will be hours away from our current location.

“But you told me earlier he’ll come home any minute before we left?” I asked, a bit confused.

Maxwell lifted his hands and put his elbows on the window while his left hand was on his chin while the other one was on the steering wheel.

“His flight was delayed. No one will come and pick them up.”

I sighed. “How long are we gonna wait?”

“I’m uncertain about it. Let’s just see.”

I crossed my arms while inside. I pulled out my phone from my pocket and scrolled to my social media. There’s no important has happened for the past few weeks. I stopped using social media.

The only phone number I got among my friends is Tori’s. Right, why the hell didn’t I get their numbers so we could call right away anytime?

Sometimes, I really hate myself for being stupid.
