He’s right. He was the one who paid for it, but I don’t want to ask him to eat with me or give him even just a bite. Instead of keeping quiet, I spoke. “Do you want some?”

“No.” See? “But I was the one who paid for it. You should be asking me whether I like it or not.”

I rolled my eyes. His eyebrow shot up. “I’ll pay you back. Don’t worry.”

Adam tilted his head cockily, “Pay me using my own money?” He said sarcastically.

Oh, he’s right. All the money I have right now is his. Right, you got a point there. He gave me ten thousand pesos before he left, but almost nine thousand are still left.

I don’t indulge in idle things, that’s why I still have the money. Also, I barely go outside during the week.

“You’re supposedly dining with Andrea. Why are you here?” I asked, changing the topic.

Adam gave me a stern look. “She went home already.”
