Chapter 9: Fitting Room

Dissimilar to the standard thing, Adam made me wake up toward the beginning of the day and get dressed right away, yet I was so damn lazy to get up and prepare! Argh, the morning feels.

Wearing a yellow off-shoulder sundress, I have no choice but to move quickly to what Adam wants. Earlier, before I finished bathing, I watched Lily fix my things, staring at nowhere… entirely out of the blue.

"Where are we going?" I asked sluggishly.

Adam remained silent. Both of us are now inside the car, and, like what his men always do, there's a car in front and at the back.

From here, I opened the window when I saw the shore looking so great every day.

"Would I be able to swim there at some point?" I asked, highlighting the ocean side we just cruised by.

He glanced at me frigidly, which made me roll my eyes in secrecy. Adam treats me the other way around, but sometimes I can see he is weak, especially when we make out a lot. I shouldn't be asking why he treats me like
