Chapter Fifteen

Zoe was kind enough to have given me a blue dress that fitted me perfectly so that I looked like Cinderella. She also did my makeup and made me look beautiful but I doubt I'll need it since I would be wearing a mask.

I tried on my mask and looked in the mirror. The magenta feathers accentuated my straight hair. I put on a mysterious smile and held out my hand in a dramatic motion, turning to Zoe. "I look like Cruella in this mask."

She chuckled and stared at me closely. "Maybe not but I think you'll be cruel to Ella."

"Who's Ella?"

"A jealous bitch!"

I didn't even care, I was more focused on myself and looking beautiful to let anyone get in my way.

By the time I was done curling my hair, Zoe was also done with her dress and makeup. She looked hardly recognizable with the mask on her face.

We both left the house after bidding bye to her parents and trekked to the hall. It wasn't far from the house so it was kinda cool. We cracked jokes and laughed on the way.
