Chapter One-Hundred and Seventeen

Blake's POV

Cursing under his breath, he stepped out of the house and down the path to the pier, Andrew running behind me.

Why would he bring a stranger to the academy? We weren't done with Alex and we heard that he escaped from prison. I looked up as he stepped onto the podium. Duych wagged his tail and leaned over to greet me. “Beautiful dog,” I muttered petting the dog, then, with a worried look on my face, I flashed Andrew a big smile and stepped forward, arms outstretched. We quietly hugged and he backed away. “You brought guests in,” I said, staring at him, then turning to the girl.

She looked like she's somewhere in her teens. She wears a pair of ripped blue jeans and a black unzipped hoodie over a crumpled T-shirt with a cross print.

"Is she a human or a wolf?" I asked curiously.

Up close, I could see that his spiky hair was dark blue rather than black. Two gold rings pierce her right eyebrow and she has a nail in her right nostril. A large gray mouse perched on her left sh
