Chapter Thirty-Six

Finally, she walked down from the stairs still looking like she had seen a ghost. She was definitely not expecting to see me alive. Blake also came down from the stairs and looked at me.

I could see pity and suffering in his eyes. He looked like he needed help on something, he looked like he was suffering. I couldn't place the message he was trying to pass.

"Wow, who have thought you would have survived the night?" Princess Kieran mocked.

I didn't have negative words to say to her because I knew I would end up embarrassed

"I did everything to remain alive." I told her.

"You are a coward. How can you hide when people are looking for you to kill? You're not competent and strong."

I knew she was trying to embarrass me in front of the slaves and she might have found out I knew the truth already.

"I'm sorry, ma'am." I apologized.

She hissed and walked out of the living room with some slaves accompanying her. I looked at Blake as he walked towards me, took hold of my hands and dragged me
