Chapter 5: The Chase
After class, Clive went straight to his dormitory across the street. He rented a spacious room on the 4th floor of the old building.
He immediately washed his uniform and unpacked his things.
'I should treat this as my home. I'll be staying here for long.'
He arranged the room to his liking and placed his books on top of the table.
After he was done, he started looking for a job online.
He sent his curriculum vitae to every part time job applicable.
The next day, he received a call from a secretary and scheduled him for an interview in the afternoon in which he applied as a part time research assistant.
--At the University--
Clive arrived early. He went straight to his classroom and sat in his chair and lowered his head.
He did not notice Celeste and Tracy sitting at the back.

"I'll be shouldering your expenses for the Research Forum." Professor Torrez claimed."Since I am the one who made you undergo this kind of research, then it will be an all-expense paid trip from me plus allowances. I will also write to the dean that you shall be excused from all your classes during the duration of the Scientific Research Forum." Professor Torrez added.Clive's grandfather has been observing the progress of his grandson through Professor Torrez. He is the actual sponsor for this trip. He even made sure that Clive is guarded at all times and safe from any harm."How long will we be gone? Will it not affect our grades?" Clive asked."Maybe a couple of weeks. The Scientific Research Forum will have three stages. The elimination, Semi-Finals and the Finals. If you pull this through, you'll get promoted immediately. This won't affect your grades, I assure you. Plus, I will be with you in every step."

They arrived at Country S in time. Clive was so amazed of his new surroundings.They immediately head to the hotel to settle at once.
