“Just relax. Take a deep breath. You are safe now. I am here. Just take a deep breath and calm down.” Nicholas said, wrapping his arms around me carefully, making sure he didn’t hurt me anywhere. I don’t know why but I instantly calmed down in his arms as I imagined the night we spent together and the way his hug gave me warmth that night “You all right, now?”
“Ye…Yeah, I think so.” I answered in a low painful voice as I hissed in pain, making him instantly pull away to examine me, with pure worry and concern evident on his face. The kind of concern and worry I didn’t see in Gabriel’s eyes for me ever.
“I am sorry. I didn’t hurt you, right?” he asked, in a panicked tone “Does it hurt anywhere? How are you feeling now?”
“It hurts pretty bad but I guess I am going to live.” I answered with a small smile “I guess you were the one who saved me, right?”
“Well, I won’t take the full credit because it was the paramedics who brought you here on time.” He said scratching the back of his neck nervously “Although I was the one who performed surgery on you.”
“Thank you.” I thanked him “I bet if it was another surgeon I wouldn’t have been alive today. You are the best in your field.” He just smiled and checked on my vitals and everything before asking.
“So, are you going to tell me what happened?” he asked “Clearly, there is something that happened because you looked broken with tears in your eyes. Want to share?”
“Did you tell my brother?” I asked, ignoring his question. He looked at me for a few seconds before letting out a sigh and nodded his head.
“I did, but he didn’t pick it up. I guess he has boarded for his mission which is why his phone is unreachable but I promise I will tell him when he picks up the call, or would you want to tell him yourself?” he asked, taking my hand in his, sending electric spark all over my body. I knew he felt it too because he squeezed my hand and smiled while I pulled my hand back and took a deep breath.
“I don’t want you to tell my brother or he is going to be worried during his mission and that’s the last thing I want. I know how much he worries about me.” I spoke, “Can I please have the water?” I asked and he nodded as he made me drink the water with his own hands while the nurses checked on my blood pressure and placed the painkillers on the table beside the hospital bed.
“Thank you.” I thanked him once again for saving my life with tears in my eyes. I couldn’t hold my tears anymore and burst out crying in front of Nicholas like a weak woman and like the kind man he was, he comforted me by pulling me in for a hug as I sobbed in his arms and filled him with everything that happened before I met with an accident.
“That fucking bastard. I am going to kill him. How dare he hurt and cheat on you like this?” Nicholas growled and spoke with gritted teeth, his fist clenched and his blood boiling with anger. He began to leave in anger when I stopped him.
“No, Nick. Please don’t go.” I stopped him “ I need you. I don’t want to be alone tonight.”
“But…” I cut him off before he could speak.
“No, buts. Please, stay with me.” I pleaded and he sighed and said something to the nurse who smiled, nodded her head, and left while he came and sat on the chair beside my bed.
“I know it is not the right time to say this, but Zacharias and I told you that he is not the right man for you, but you didn’t listen. He doesn’t deserve a sweet, kind, and innocent woman like you, Jules. We told you.” He said and I looked down at the plaster on my leg that I fractured along with broken ribs and severe wound on my head with the bandage wrapped around it.
“Then who is the right man for me?” I asked looking into his eyes, as he looked in mine with our eyes locked “Who is the right man for me, Nicholas? Is it you?” He stayed silent for a few seconds and spoke.
“No, I am not.” He answered “You deserve a better man than me. Someone who will never hurt you and you are nothing but like a sister to me. I don’t see you that way.” This made me laugh when he said that.
“Yeah, sister my ass. The sister you fucked and enjoyed every moment of it.” I snapped just then the nurse entered with the last person I wanted to see. My eyes widened in shock when I saw him standing over there with a bouquet of flowers and if I wasn’t hurt and angry before, I was furious now. How dare he cheat on me with my best friend and stand over here with flowers like he didn’t do anything?
“You?! What are you doing over here, you son of a bi….” I didn’t get the chance to finish because I was cut off by the punch thrown on Gabriel’s face by furious Nicholas who literally forgot that we were in the hospital and he was the doctor working in this hospital.
“I warned you. I fucking warned you that if you ever break her heart, I will break your bones.” He growled and hit Gabriel by tackling him on the ground while Gabriel screamed in pain and shouted out for help. The nurse went out for help and returned with the security who pulled Nicholas away from Gabriel or else he would have killed him. I tried to stop him too from my place but he didn’t listen and I was useless because I couldn’t get off the bed due to my fractured bones.
“You should be glad that Zacharias isn’t here or he would have killed you right now. Just pray for your life until he returns and kills you.” Nicholas threatened Gabriel who was trying to stop the blood from his broken bleeding nose and glared at me “Don’t you dare glare at her, you dickhead. How dare you stand over here after cheating on her and sending her to the deathbed? She could have died tonight.”
“It is between Juliet and me. Who are you to speak?” Gabriel snaps while the security tries to hold Nicholas back from killing Gabriel. The director of the hospital came and asked what happened when Nicholas filled him with everything, and instead of the director giving Nicholas any type of warning, he punched Gabriel’s face and looked at the nurses.
“Treat this cheater’s wound and throw him out after doing his vasectomy.” When the director of the hospital said that, I couldn’t help but burst out laughing while the director winked at me and patted Nicholas's shoulders and don’t get me asking for Gabriel’s face as it was priceless as he went running out of the hospital in a hurry like his ass was on fire “Good job, my friend. The cheaters deserve more than that.”
“Enjoyed the show, Jules?” Nicholas asked.
“Yes, but you didn’t need to,” I replied and he grinned leaning close to kiss on my cheek.
“Trust me, I needed to.” He murmured “Or else I wouldn’t have been able to sleep tonight at my place,” he went silent ten continued “Speaking of my place, you are coming to stay with me.” “I am what?!” I asked shocked “And, why?!”
Nicholas Carrington:-I looked at my beautiful and sexy wife standing in front of me, wrapped in the most sexy lingerie I have ever seen, just like my extraordinary wife, and felt my heart race in my chest, and my cock stand erect, ready to embed inside of her soft folds."Are you done staring at me, Romeo, or are you going to do something about it?" she asked, taking off my shirt with heat in her eyes, and in response, I wrapped my arm around her waist and rubbed myself against her front, letting her feel my evident hard-on for her. I lowered my mouth, and she parted her lips to kiss me when I smirked and moved lower, trailing a kiss down her neck, her collar bone, and stopped between the valley of her breast, and inhaled her scent.I grinned wickedly and winked at her before pulling down the cups of her full breasts, and wrapped my mouth around her left nipple and suckled on it. She moaned and threw her head back as I suckled on it deeper in my mouth and played with her other nipple
Juliet Carrington:-The maitre d' at the restaurant instantly recognized me and took me to a table, which had candles lit upon it and was looking out upon the river Arno. I sat down and smoothed out my dress, feeling the silk run smoothly over my skin, when several minutes later Nick came in, wearing black as I requested him to do, and looking devilishly hot and sexy.Just as he was about to approach me, he suddenly halted in mid-stride and gazed me up and down, his features unreadable. His eyes met mine, and all the other world faded. He gazed at me as a man does at the stars.I stood slowly, smiling seductively, "You're late."He cleared his throat and got close to me. I might start to be late more often, if you are going to look like this when I am late. I smiled inwardly when he kissed my hand and looked straight at me."Juliet, sweetheart," he said, in a deep and rough voice. "You look unbelievable.""Thank God," I answered, my eyes twinkling, "because that was the aim, and I app
Juliet Carrington:-"Athena, are you free today?"I asked my new best friend and sister-in-law. I still can't believe Athena and I have bonded, after how we both started. I thought he was my husband's wife, once, and I was his mistress, when I didn't. nor Nicholas knew he had a twin, but look at us now, living under same roof, as one strong, loving and happy family who would do anything for one another. She looked at me with an arched brow and checked me out from head to toe, and I saw a grin form on her face, when she realized what was going on and asked."You went for the checkup today. Didn't you?" she asked with curiously and I nod shyly, "And, doctor gave you all clear for mindblowing, and banging sex with your husband. Didn't she?""Yup. which is why I want to go shopping with you today and buy something sexy for myself to make my husband lose all the senses and forget everything but me. He has been stressing for the past few weeks, and went through a lot, both physically and em
Juliet Carrington:-"Nick, what's going on over here, and why is the staff putting things in the car trunks and truck? Are we going somewhere?" I asked Nick as I watched the chaos happening around us. Before Nick can open his mouth and tell me, his twin Chrysander beat him to it, as he entered with his wife and children in his arms, dressed up in swimming trunks and picnic shirt. Athena was dressed up in picnic attire, too."We are all going to a family picnic, dear sister-in-law, where we can have fun and enjoy as a family." Chrysaner announced, "The maids have already set your and Nick's clothes on the bed, and the nannies have changed the twins. If you both want to be in the car in the next ten minutes, you might want to hurry up and get into your bathing suits, as we are going to my beach house."I stared, attempting to believe the tornado which had just swept the hall. "A family picnic?" The employees were working in harmonized disarray, throwing baskets, coolers, beach towels, t
Juliet Carrington:-“So, how did you and Chrysander meet? We never got to talk about that, to be honest.” I asked Athena as she tried to stop her crawling twins from leaving the room.“Oh, trust me. It wasn’t romantic at all. We started on the rock foot, and wrong track. I might have witnessed him committing a murder and threatened to expose him, by going against him when he came one night to my place and kidnapped me, and whispered a promise to tie me to him and impregnate me so I will forever be bound to him and will never be able to testify against him as his wife and shit.” she said with a chuckle, “I hated him at first though.”I looked at her with a stroke of uncertainty of whether I had caught her words. "You what?" Athena smiled, pushing a piece of hair that fell along her cheek as one of her twins caught her necklace and attempted to chew it up. "You heard me. Back then he was out of his damn mind. I believed he was a kind of monster in a costly suit. And to be fair, he kind
Juliet Carrington:-As the car drove over the iron gates of the palazzo of Chrysander I was almost as though I were entering a new world. The massive doors screeched open to show a through-way with white marble tiles illuminated with soft gold light, which resembled that of a painting. The water in the fountain at the center was shining and dispersing the sun and diamonds over the stone. It was the first time I was in Italy, yet, in case this was what Chrysander considered home, it was quite phenomenal and awe-inspiring.Nicholas had kept silence since the landing of the plane. His jaw was strained, his fingers were tapping his thigh in that nervousness rhythm which could never be trusted to reflect his mind. I did not inquire as to what was going through his mind. We both knew why we were here. The most important thing that had occurred after all the events was that our children were safe.As Chrysander came to the head of the marble stairs he looked all the man the world talked. Sle
