Chapter 12 Moving Day Part 1

"Hum, hum, hum." Ren was outside enjoying the breeze as the others cultivated not to far from him. The last few days had been enjoyable, but the trouble was rearing its head in the form of an Outer Sect Elder who came to collect rent.

Apparently, Ren's uncle did not pay still. He figured the man would have someone like his disciples to make the payment. He was wrong, or someone was messing with things. "Oh, you are back Elder snake face."

Ren said this seriously but with a little jest. As the others moved about he continued to collect info on the Elders for the future the last few days.

Each of them were his eyes and ears. Elder Snake Face was actually a pretty decent Elder. Brought down by all the trouble the Sect had been facing. He treated disciples fairly enough.
