"How old are you?" The doctor asked, she collected the card from Michal and checked out Mirabella's details. "Ten." She muttered and looked at Mirabella. A week had come and gone and still nothing has been heard from the doctor, Catherine had gone back to meet her and she explained to her that they had to wait till the result is out.Different thoughts built their walls on Michal's mind, she tried and tried not to think of terrible things but her mind wouldn't let her. She made sure she made Mirabella smile every time and anytime she brought up the test topic, she'd quickly cover it up with an entirely different one.She was avoiding it but sooner or later, it would reveal itself."Mirabella, are you sure you're okay?" Things have been different since Mirabella was diagnosed with Leukaemia, there was no one to rile Michal anymore. She missed Mirabella, she missed the cheerful and playful Mirabella, she missed her troubles and everything and her one prayer everyday was for Mirabella to get well soon.Four weeks since school resumed and she had missed so much, she couldn't go back to school leaving her sister alone in the hospital. The cloud was dark, it looked like it was about to rain. Mirabella stood by the window and stared outside the breeze blew heavily across the window side and she shivered she went back to lay on her bed.
