"If you still won't do it, then I can't stop myself from reporting you to the police for lying to all of us," Keenan threatened again. "You know, I can get the police interested in you again by making you an accomplice to the culprit."

"Oh, my, Mr. Keenan, you're so mean," Dianne interrupted with an annoyed face. She felt as if she was being threatened and coerced right now.

"You're helping Nicolas only until he regains his memory," Keenan persuaded, he didn't really mean to turn his apprentice secretary down. "After all, I will give you the salary of being a fiancée who takes care of all her lover's needs, a salary is separate from your internship wages," Keenan clarified.

Dianne's pupils dilated slightly at that. Honestly, Keenan's offer just now was enough to change her mind. Who would have thought, she was about to resign from the intern secretary status with very little savings, but it turned out that she could get a side job even though it was annoying to do.
