Chapter Twenty-eight

Tiana's POV.

A lasting red part.

I paced the room absentmindedly. I'd sometimes kick some shoes and water bottles on the floor. I looked at Blake and  he gave me a assuring smile.

We're currently inside in the guest room in my aunt's place. She told our grandma would come today. I wonder  how they'd break the news to her and bring her to Lagos.

And besides, her daughter's corpse supposed to be laid to rest in the village unless they want to bury her in one of the cemetery in Yaba or something.

It took me days to admit she was truly dead. I've accepted my fate and I cry less now. It's three days now and Mike is still on search while no one no knows the whereabouts of Patricia.

"How was school yesterday?" I decided to break the uncomfortable silence in the room.

"Ohhh.. School? Normal" he answered dryly.
