Chapter 14

Emily's POV;

I laid on the bed and covered the sheets over my head to go to sleep. I felt the bed shake a little when Mr Hamilton laid beside me. I heard his breathing slow down as well, signalling he was asleep. I lay there in silence for awhile before getting up. I walked over to the window, where I leaned against it looking out at nothing. The night sky was black as pitch but bright moonlight illuminated everything around me. A slight breeze blew past me and my hair moved slightly with it. I closed my eyes, feeling myself start to drift off.

Mr Hamilton was being nice to me even though we didn't talked that much. But i was rude to him today by reminding the contract and blabbering about a job. He didn't talk to me after i said that. Did i make him upset? Why does this bother me so much? It doesn't matter. Mr Hamilton is just a guy with whom i have to be with another two years. After two years, we'll go in our seperate ways. Maybe i can meet people who will like me more than h
