Emily's POV;

a few days ago

It was late at night when the door to Emily's office opened, causing her to jump slightly. She turned around and saw her father standing there. His usually dark hair was now a lighter shade of black than what she had originally expected, and his eyes looked tired as he took in his surroundings.

"Daddy?" He didn't respond, only walked over towards the small table next to her desk. She got up from her chair and followed him, not bothering with closing the door behind her as she did so. "What brings you here this time of night?"

He sat down on one of the chairs and sighed deeply, rubbing his face roughly. "I need your help."

"With what?" She asked cautiously, sitting down next to him.

"With your wedding." Emily blinked several times, surprised that her father knew about it. It wasn't like she ever told anyone else about it. In fact, she hadn't even told anyone except for Spencer... but they weren' t dating, were they?

He shook his head and continued speaking
