Chapter seventeen

"Wakey wakey!" Antoinette giggled, walking into Adena's room. She went over to the bed and tapped Adena slightly on the arm.

"Good morning sleepy head" she greeted. Adena stretched on the bed before flickering her sensational green eyes open. She smiled when she saw Antoinette.

"Good morning" she returned the greeting and sat up properly.

"You have to freshen up quickly, we're going to the garden behind the house to pick tomatoes and some other fruits"Antoinette announced. Adena had no idea that there was a garden behind the house, she couldn't wait to see it.

"Just gimme five minutes" she answered and leaped out of bed and into the bathroom. Within minutes, she came out and threw on one of the flimsy gowns that Liliana had presented to her when she came newly.

"Let's go then" she said with enthusiasm.

Antoinette giggled, leading the way to the garden.

"Woah" Adena gasped, taking in the beauty of the backyard garden. It was breathtaking. The garden stretched over five hectares of land
