Chapter 52

Nicklaus hung up tbe phone, sat on one of his executive chair, and retrieved a document. However, he no longer have the mood to deal with official business. He was reluctant to work even if he force himself to do so.

Since he wasn't in tbe right mind to work, he stood up, turn off the light and walked towards the bedroom.

When he approached the bedroom, the door was already wide open. There seem to be no movement in the bedroom including the previous bulge under the duvet.

Realizing something, Nicklaus stepped lightly and walked towards the bed without making a sound.

As he got to the bed, he gently lifted the duvet that was covering little Noah's head. Noah had already fallen asleep and was breathing peacefully under the covers. Under the faint luminescence of the warm bedroom light, his fair and flushed face as well as delicate brows were very identical to that of Samantha. The corners of his mouth were slightly curbed even though he was sleeping.

The boy must be having a good dream
