EPISODE 41

I meant it seriously, but part of me expected him to laugh or brush it off. Instead, he exhaled deeply, and I caught him in the corner of my eye pinching the bridge of his nose like he was already tired of where this conversation was going.

“You’re going to ask me uncomfortable things like that, then get depressed about it later?” he said.

“I’m not depressed,” I replied. “I wouldn’t even ask if I couldn’t handle the answer. I’m just… curious.”

“Don’t bother asking me. You might lose your appetite later... The only thing you really need to know,” he continued in that unnervingly smooth voice. "Is that humans are one of our needs. A source of strength. That’s far more important than what they actually taste like. We wouldn’t eat people if there wasn’t something essential we gained from it in our true form.”

I let out a faint breath. "Yeah… I’ve heard that already."

“But was I right about what I said earlier?” he asked, now sounding serious again. “That you don’t have any oth

EPISODE 59— ALPHA BRUNO VS. ALPHA DAX“The human asked me for a favor,” Bruno replied in the same calm tone. “She wanted me to teach her how to read.”“I’m here to take the human,” Dax said.I took a deep breath. “Do you need me for something?” I asked politely, trying not to let my frustration show. That’s when Dax’s gaze finally shifted to me.“Whether I need something from you or not, when I come to get you, you’re supposed to come with me,” he said deeply.“Can it wait a little?” I asked, keeping my tone respectful. “We are still working on something, and I’m almost done with the passage I’m reading.”But the look he gave me in return, it darkened, like I’d just challenged something I wasn’t supposed to and he turned his full attention back to Bruno.“The warriors already left earlier today to search for a new human sacrifice,” he said. "So you shouldn’t be interfering with mine anymore.”I watched as Bruno calmly adjusted his glasses, pressing them against the bridge of his nose

EPISODE 58 — FINEI sealed my lips shut. There was nothing more to say.“Whether you like it or not, you’re eating here later,” he said with authority.I didn’t respond. The silence that followed stretched for minutes but I refused to break it. The only sounds that filled the room were the soft scratching of his pen against paper and the occasional thud of books as I arranged them onto the shelf. I slid them into place, trying to keep my focus there instead of on him.“Human, go to the kitchen and tell the slave there I want tea.”I didn’t even look at him as I whispered under my breath, “Are your balls too heavy that you can’t stand up and give the order yourself?” There was a beat of silence again.“What did you just say?” His tone dropped to something colder. “What kind of filth just came out of your mouth? Say it again.”I slowly turned, plastering on a fake, innocent smile. “I said… you’re handsome. I didn’t say anything else.”He exhaled.“Human,” he said in a formal tone that

EPISODE 57 — REJECTED As soon as I heard his answer, I felt the shift in my expression. The disappointment and irritation, all surfaced at once. My face soured, and I stood up, no longer willing to stay kneeling in front of him. I couldn't believe I had even bothered to do that. To beg him to teach me how to read, only to be rejected without a second thought. I should’ve known better. He didn’t just say no, he was enjoying this. It was obvious. This four-eyed beast was deliberately messing with me.“If I had known you were just going to turn me down,” I muttered through clenched teeth. “I wouldn't have embarrassed myself by asking you like some pathetic fool.”He didn’t even spare me a glance. His attention returned immediately to whatever he was scribbling on that paper in front of him.“I am an Alpha,” he said coldly. “Not a teacher who exists to educate you.”“I know you’re an Alpha,” I said. “But I genuinely want to learn how to read. Just like you.”“Aren’t you going to die anyw

EPISODE 56 — TEACH METhe moment those words left my mouth, I knew I had struck his nerve again. I could barely contain my amusement when I saw Bruno’s eyebrows crash into each other. His lower eyelid twitched, precisely the way it always did when he was trying to hold in his temper. His blood pressure was probably shooting through the roof again.“Does Villion bite too?” I asked, tilting my head slightly and feigning curiosity.“He’s quite dignified as well," Bruno answered, trying his best to stay composed, he was restraining himself from growling. “So it’s highly unlikely he’d ever do something like that to you. But I’ll say this again, in case it slips your mind… be careful around him. He’s got a temper, like Dax. Sometimes, he’s even worse.”I pretended to take that seriously, nodding a little. But honestly, the warnings only made me more curious about Villion."Still... even with that kind of temper, when I first saw your eldest Alpha, he was the most handsome of the four of you

EPISODE 55 — MORNING DUTY She moved even closer, invading my space. Her eyes tried to peer through the curtain of long bangs covering most of my face. “Do you want the four of us to cripple you?” she murmured threateningly. “Do you want to wake up tomorrow morning unable to stand, with every bone in your body shattered? Maybe you’ve forgotten… you’re just a human. And we’re stronger than you.”“Maybe you forgot… you’re just an omega too,” I replied. The way her eyebrows crashed together told me the words hit their mark. “Just because I followed your orders this morning doesn’t mean I’ll keep doing so. If it’s related to the high-ranking wolves, then fine, I’ll do it. But if it’s just for your personal benefit? I won’t.”I caught the movement of her left hand as it started to rise.“Do you know Kira?” I asked coldly. But before her palm could slap across my cheek, her hand stopped and her expression shifted. She looked confused, maybe even curious as she stared at me, brows now furrow

EPISODE 54 — OMEGAS vs. SLAVEThe Slave’s Point of ViewI was completely worn out after a long, grueling day. My body ached with exhaustion as I went about lighting the oil lamps mounted on the walls, especially the one near the head of my bed. Using a matchstick I struck it with my fingers. A deep breath escaped my lips as each lamp flickered to life, casting a warm, amber glow across the room.I had just finished lighting the candles placed in the holders on top of my desk. The combined glow of the lamps and candles slowly filled my small room, chasing away the shadows. As the light grew steadier and brighter, my eyes wandered to the open door that led to the balcony. From where I stood, I could see the sky outside, its colors fading into a deep orange as the sun dipped closer to the horizon. Dusk was settling in, and with it came the gentle creep of darkness.Even from up here on the 10th floor, I could hear the buzzing of insects and the distant cries of birds. Their sounds echoed
