Ralph had returned home. Anxiety had gnawed at his ride back home, making it impossible to focus on anything other than Gina's safety. When he found her missing from the house, he had hurried to Ivy, a mixture of panic and anger coursing through him.

"Where's Gina?" Ralph demanded, his voice strained with worry and irritation.
