Chapter Eight

"Wala naman," Sienna calmly answered. "Pinipigilan ko lang na pirmahan ng babaeng 'to iyong kontrata. Sayang naman kasi 'yong effort niya nakaraan na tumakas dahil sa tulong mo." Sumbat niya.

Adam only grinned. "Well, she failed, did she?"

She rolled her eyes. "Is Master with you?"

"He went straight upstairs to his bedroom, to change probably."

"Nagpapambahay ba si Zaccheus?" tanong ng kuyosidad ko. "I can't imagine."

"He only wears white T-shirt and shorts."

"Babalik na 'ko sa kusina, nandito na pala si Master." Tumingin siya kay Adam. "Kapag nalaman kong gumagawa ka na naman ng katangahan, pababayaan na kita."

"Wow, thanks a lot, babe."

She huffed and left the room while stomping her feet on the floor childishly. I pulled a chair for myself and sat there while looking up at Adam, searching his face for any wounds, bruises or cuts. All he had was the fading bruise beside his lips and that's it. Sienna didn't made it sound like it was a big deal
